    There should always be context. When you watch games as it unfolds you get an idea who had a good game or not. The answer is not always who had the ball the last two minutes or who took the last shot to win the game. It's how the players played the entire game and the impact and contribution they made to help their team win. More often than not Shaq and Kobe had their moment during the games they played (regular/playoffs) to help the Lakers win the games. Kobe was the closer but Shaq was their foundation. He was the biggest mismatch for every team. He created problems. Shaq delivered and then some both offensive and defensive end. Kobe did his thing also on both ends but when every team is built to stop you and still be the biggest factor to win the games that is next level.

    No Kobe slander , but because you love a player, don't change narrative.... The other NBA players back then couldn't wait for Shaq to leave. After Shaq left, teams were letting Kobe score, but he wasn't winning.
    Kobe said, " ama bust his a..." about Ray Allen ( playing with Seattle then) because Ray made a comment about Shaq being gone.... yall can Google the first game for Lakers vs. Seattle after Shaq left. The NBA players, even Phil Jackson, left him and wrote a book about his pov of Kobe....
    Now I will not sh.t on Kobe's greatness. After Being Humbled, Phil coming back then Memphis giving Lakers a gift with Pau Gasol and Bynum, Kobe's game matured beautifully, and the NBA hated on Kobe getting more chips by vetoeing the Chris Paul trade when Kobe still had his powers

      Imagine being universally known as a top 5 player. All NBA offense and defense. Leading the team in assist and 4th quarter points and be told you just had moments lol. This is a differenly level of hate. Scary.

      Lol if you believe that, it's only due to Shaq. Lebron way better than Kobe ALL AROUND and Kyrie just as good or just right there and way better footwork and ball handling. Cars 2016 run was greater than anything Kobe and Shaq ever did with each other or by themselves. But I respect your opinion

    Do any of you look at Kris Middleton as giannis sidekick or equal?? He hit big shots he played when giannis was hurt against the hawks but none of you would say he was his equal. He did his job but Shaq was the MAN

      Diminish Kobe how? He was behind one of the most dominant basketball players of all time. Y'all so emotional to the point where you hear something negative about your favorite player your go to is to try and discredit an NBA player 😂Calling Kobe robin I would say is a stretch though

    They were the perfect 1... 2 combo. Game 4 ... year 2000. Shaq fouls out. Kobe scored 8 points in OT for the W. Game 7 WCF Kobe throws a lob that pretty much won the game also. He was forrsure a lead dawg. They both were when they needed to be 💯

    The thing with Gil is he makes sense to the people who didn’t watch the lakers at that time. So it’s easier to go to the numbers and say Kobe was robin. But it was more of a magic Kareem situation, Kobe played the same important role that Shaq did.

  • @22savagetv
    @22savagetv หลายเดือนก่อน

    Kobe was the KEY 🔑 to unlock Shaq’s full potential. He was the primary ball handler, led the team in assists. And Kobe’s ability to break down a defense created more room for Shaq. Gil a known Kobe hater, don’t listen to that “ima fan but Kobe sucks because..” 😒 the ninja wouldn’t be saying none of this if Kobe was still here..

    What makes Jordan the GOAT in my Opinion is from the stories my dad told me and that the fact his 6 rings came off 3 peats no one else has done that Kobe was close but didn’t make finals in 2011 but he won 09 /10 he had a chance to do exactly what Jordan did which was Kobe idol and who he idolized his game from
