Peden, I am a 60 year old guy that really appreciates what my generation did for music. The 70's and 80's basically transformed music. Please understand your husband and his band were truly a talent. I have said for decades that this one song is in my top 3 songs ever sang. Please let your husband know how his talents have really affected ,so many generations of music lovers. Thanks to he and JC for a song that has become timeless. Please tell him thanks for such good memories that I have personally shared with 100s of people! Have a great Christmas.
If I'm ever in the position to get stuff on the radio one day, I'd love to cover this and get it back out there again. Too many young people haven't heard it and it definitely blows a lot of modern hits completely out of the water.
The song is "Baby Come Back"... you don't remember it. But as soon as you put on those headphones and hear the beat........ oh, man..... that baby came BACK!!!
What a classic tune And of course Rob Moss the bass player and red would go on and play ridge Hunter on soap The bold and the beautiful for many many years
I have to agree it is a great sung by my husband Peter Beckett and written by him and JC Crowley.

One of the sexiest slow jams from the 70s
Always liked when a white group had soul. It sounds so good one of my favorite songs just like the Bee Gees so much Soul.
in the 70's, a pop/soul/rock band was not that unique, but bit prevalent. AWB, Player, Ambrosia, others come to mind.
There were great rock ballads from the 70s & 80s! This comes around on my iPod at least once a week at work.
I was 21 when this came out ahhhhhhhh the 70s were the best i still enjoy this song and I'm now 65.
Another great song to react is Ambrosia's How Much I Feel.
