Is it easy to clean the fan blade? And how it is after about a year of use? And does it remember the last settings you used when turned off at the main switch? Please let me know. Thanks.
@@CharlietheHandyman Thank you for the reply. Does the light come on by default when the turned on at the wall switch? Because it would be inconvenient to walk into a dark room and have to use the remote to turn on the light.
Nice fan. Is it worth it? I have to switch the monster Hunter fan i have over my bed to a nice one, but I need to know if the air flow is there. I like my Hunter fan, but it's just too bulky and not very pretty. Anyways, nice video.
I can't get remote or app to work. Remote blue light flashes real fast if I push a button (noticed yours blinks more solid). Any idea what could be wrong. Seems unlikely both wouldn't work. The wall switch turns of the light but that's as far as I can go. Any suggestions on what to do. Thanks
I don't know what to do. I took out the light bulb and the hole it was in is a bit bigger than the bracket and the base. Should I cut a piece of wood in a circle with a smaller hole in the center and toggle it into the drywall and attach the bracket to that? Any thought anyone?
@jeremymarsh41 amzn.to/49cHA6A might need to add some like this. Lots of unknowns but these retro fit boxes are helpful or you might need a pancake box.

!!NEVER!! remove or install anything hardwired without first shutting the power off at the BREAKER! Not the switch! If you don't know that, you probably shouldn't be doing it yourself, let alone instructing others. Yeegads!
Whoa! Someone woke up and chose violence. A switch interrupts power that is its job, if you wanna turn the breaker which is another switch might as well turn the main off while you’re at it.
@@CharlietheHandyman Violence? What? How does calling out an irresponsible-and possibly fatal-practice equate to violence? As far as a ‘switch’ goes…well a ‘switch’ just doesn’t function the same way as a breaker. And your ignorance to that concerns me even more. Electrical wiring isn’t rocket science, but it should be done with care. A licensed electrician, let alone a novice DIYer, isn’t going to blindly know whether things behind the walls were done correctly. That’s why you kill the power at the breaker. It’s simply a good practice.
This was very informative and helpful. I just changed mine out and it took me a little over an hour to complete with a few minor hiccups. Thank you.
Thanks for trying the features of ceiling fan with light
For a serial killer who likes there house that bright 😂
It is adjustable brightness and k value. Never go daylight!
@@CharlietheHandyman is there a reason for never using daylight?
Just personal preference. It’s so bright

Shouldn’t have any problems cleaning the blades. I don’t turn the switch off often, I mostly use the remote to turn it on and off.

I enjoy it. The adjustability is great and the fan has plenty of power in a small package.
@@CharlietheHandyman Good to know. Thanks for the info. 😊
Why do a lot of people say to make sure to turn off the breaker for the ground wire ?

Can you please show how to change the blades?
Why would you want to remove the blades?
Can you reverse the fan for summer counterclockwise vs winter clockwise?
Yes!
Idk that fan looks quite petite. Does it blow any air?
It will blow you away!
That’s what I thought but it blows all of air.
Whats the brand/make/model of this fan.
It’s the first link in the description

What did you do with the small ground wire inside?
You want to ground it to the electrical box.
@@CharlietheHandyman awesome thank you, I just didn’t see anything in your video about this.
Wish it was really big like the thumb nail photo
I’m missing the 8” metal bracket. Where can I find this part?
I would contact the company
Affiliate links not working for me, maybevi need to use browser and not youtube app.
Thanks for watching! I will look into it.
Do you need a drill or can you use a screwdriver ?? I already have a ceiling fan in I just wanna replace it !?!?!?
Most of the time you can just use a screwdriver. Drill just makes it easier!
Light ring burnt out. How do i fix it?
Only real downfall have to return it for a new one.
Forgot to remove the old bracket from the box.
Hasn’t caused any problems. Thanks Frank!
The whole video is funny😂😂😂
Thanks for watching!
bro made me laugh, never laughed in a how to video, keep it up
Glad you enjoyed!
The app dud you get it eorking
😂 a real 9 inches lol
Can you change the lights on that fan?
No the only downfall if the led goes out you have to replace the fixture.
How about if you need to replace the lights? Change the whole fan?
Yep but the led are supposed to last a long time so we will see
@CharlietheHandyman urg... I had bad experience with one like this. It became a very expensive light bulb.
@@scghost2424 the fan is $100 bucks that is expensive lightbulb.
A “big fan” huh a shocking experience huh? Lol
Were you a big fan of the video?
It looks like you have knob and tube wiring. It might be time to talk to an electrician about updating your home’s electrical system.
It is cloth wiring definitely needs an update. It’s on my list of things to do. As long as the cloth is in good shape shouldn’t cause any problems.
@@CharlietheHandyman yes, so long as you don’t insulate over it.
😮....I guess I'm a serial killer cause im blind and I like bright light. Except when im in the mood for the real 9 inches 😂
Well if you’re blind I’ll let it pass! Tip of the cap to that man! 🤣🤣🤣
Hager dilly whopper 😂😂😂😂 love it
Please remove the old bracket before installing the new bracket. You installed the new bracket right over the old bracket and that's a no no.
You know I never noticed that. I agree I’ll jump up there and remove that. I appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching!
I just got my fan today I removed my old bracket I can’t get the new bracket screwed on the ceiling for some reason
