Your slab climbing is phenomenal! I remember watching a vlog from one of the world cups last year and you mentioning slab wasn't one of your strong points. The work you've put in definitely shows when looking back, you're evolving into such a well rounded climber! Banger content as always Toby, could watch these commentary style videos for hours on end
WHAT A VIDEO! So many cool details in both the climbing itself (as well as the setting etc..) but also the production of it is silky smooth. Really enjoy the commentary, especially the moments when you point out things to learn from the specific boulders: interesting to see a more in depth analysis. Alex's side line was very funny (and not that inaccurate). The 'weird types of training' montage was really cool to. Please keep making these kind of videos. And thank you for inspiring me in my climbing.
These toby videos are slowly becoming a new favorite of mine. which is not an uncommen phrase but before it refrenced segar now a roberts. well done great content :D
As a 16yo guy who just got their first finals/podium finish, you are without a doubt my biggest inspiration :D This comp style format looks sick, wish I could give it a go!!
Besides...he's 19 😉, but insanely smooth in his movements. With a little more experience he'll manage to figure out the Beta even faster. Holy Moly, the New Generation is so incredibly strong!
This video was amazing! I love watching World Cup climbers come together and train. It really shows a new perspective on how much they love climbing. Those climbs looked tough, but Toby definitely crushed it! Good luck training!
this was so fun to watch. the combination of such incredible setting, top climbers having fun and friendly competition/training is just so cool to see! great video Toby
I honestly haven't been climbing much due to other interests in life right now, but this just made me really psyched and you've earned a new subscriber for sure. Awesome video
Toby, your tenacity to find a way and your ability to adapt and adjust to find that way and to grind it out is on another level and incredibly inspiring. Also, taking the time to do these videos and make them such high quality is awesome: the shots, the commentary, the music all top tier. Thank you!
Love your new video. I only recently started climbing and it's so cool to see what can be achieved. Knowing what it takes me to top one of my routes I'm even more impressed with what you can do.
Incredible video!! So cool to see the best climbers on the circuit all training together and the commentary is so entertaining 😂 thanks for sharing and keep up the great work toby!!
Great video! Love this kind of climbing video with amazing climbing, clean edit, and your wonderful commentary. Can't wait to see more from your channel👍
Thanks a lot for making this beautiful content Toby! Have been watching the world cups and see you improve so much over the last few years. Good luck for the Olympics! Rooting for you! Also, what a beautiful sport climbing is. Where you can hang out and have fun with the people you're also competing against. ❤
It is a great privilege to be able to watch them climbing in this competition. I am really enjoying this format and editing of the videos. Thank you very much for these incredible videos. I am very proud of your progress😊
Wow these videos were incredible. I'm quite new to being a fan of climbing (although I've watched many years' worth of competition streams already haha) and it's so so SO cool to hear your thoughts directly and see such amazingly skilled people have fun on these problems outside of the competitions. You're all very inspiring. All the best for your training Toby! Those were some genuinely super interesting looking ways to train haha.
Such a killer style. As a viewer I loved the pace, and it was cool that Alex Megos was just one of the guys in the video--it was low key but also had star power in it. Anyway I hope this blows up.
The level 5 slab is insane! Can't image how those positions get established and transitioned to the next. Wonder if you may have a video talking about how to train for slabs
Great video! Could you maybe do a video on the training you do in addition to your climbing and the reasoning behing it (starting at minute 14 in the video)? That would mega interesting
Dancing on the wall, that's how it looked like to me. Inspiring and motivational training format. Looked like a lot of fun despite the sketchy falls ;) Big shout-out to the setters.
Heyy Tony All the on-sight camera recordings are in stereo 2 channel mode, (left ear). You can change it to mono in camera so you dont have to manage it in post. But you can also select the channels of audio in your editing software. So it doesnt into 1 ear only : )!
Loved the video and the enthusiasm of everyone in the video. Hope you don't mind me asking - Are you planning to put up a video of all the off the wall training that you have done that helped you improve your toe strength and overall lower body stability? Absolutely amazed at the slab climbing part
Now you've got me wondering how a world class ballet performer would do at climbing and vice versa 😅 great video, and so fascinating to have a glimpse at some of your weird training exercises haha
watching yoshiyuki ogata and alex megos on that coordination level five was crazy! really showing their mastery of those moves. great video toby!!!
Such a great climb, it was great to watch 💪🏼 thank you!!

Very strong from him 🔥

Here after your Olympic Gold!!!❤🥰🥰🥰
that was awesome!! the non climbing training looked like so much fun too, those exercises can be so creative and often feel more like games :D
Yeah it’s great to add them in to mix the training up a bit!
Such a killer style. As a viewer I loved the pace, and it was cool that Alex Megos was just one of the guys in the video--it was low key but also had star power in it. Anyway I hope this blows up.
LOVE this video. More like this please 👍
Each new video is topping an old one! It's nice to see you training and laughing together. Unfortunately, this is very rare in other sports...
Thank you!! That’s what’s so amazing about climbing is how genuine and supportive everyone is!
Miho is training with the top men in the world... looking forward for the olympics, she's gooing to crush
She's looking really strong 💪
Those slabs were gnarly, especially that level 5
Savage!
You aced it Toby, these collaborations are viewer favourites as well and it’s good t see you competing with your true peers
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼 glad you enjoyed it
Another banger. Cool to get a little peak behind the curtain at your supplementary training.
Thank you 👀
@@TobyClimbing a full video about it would be really cool, like everything you train apart from regular strength training and actual climbing
Masterpiece, as always…congrats
Thank you!!
That was a really cool collaboration. Great stuff.
Thank you :))
Really enjoying these last few videos. Cheers!
amazing video and quality (thanks for the HD options at 50fps)!
Glad you liked it!
bloody good video, thanx

Tsukuru is one of my favorite setters, with Riccardo Caprasecca!
Thanks Toby!
Me too!!

Insane coordination, strength and body control on level 5 -- congrats to Alex and Yoshiyuki!
So strong 🔥
@@TobyClimbing great job with the videos. Love how you're' so inclusive and appreciative of your cohort. And I'll be cheering for you in the Olympics!
super good videos, thanks
Thanks :D
Please upload an uncut version. I wanna see every single attempt on every single boulder by all athletes
It’s so crazy watching you at my local gym. Tried the blocks after and they were absolutely insane 🤯
Thank you 🙏🏼😉☺️
Loved seeing the friendly banter between Toby and Sorato knowing that these two are gonna lead the pack of indoor competition for the years to come
Such a cool video once again
Thank you!

i really like Alex wisdom at 2:31, felt that way after my last beginner level session :D
😂😂
Looked like there were so many potential satisfying moves around, can imagine it got everyone buzzing
Such great setting 🔥
This is becoming my favorite gang of climbing pros.
😎🔥
I loved that last power boulder because it still needed really subtlety (as well as power) to stick those crimps
Yes! It’s a common theme on the world cups. Everyone is very strong so the power boulders have to have a bit of a subtlety to them to split the field!
Good stuff as always
Thanks for watching 💎
So nice to see behind the curtain a little bit. It's genuinely inspiring. 🙏
Do you plan to compete in the Budapest Olympic qualifiers by any chance?
Thank you! I’m not actually allowed to compete there as I have already qualified. But I would if I could 😢
Saw Yannick start that lvl 5 power boulder and instantly knew he was about to send it
🔥🔥
Love your videos, super inspiring. Can you show us what is your non climbing training session ? It would be super insightful , cheers
Yes for sure maybe in the future 🤩
so inspiring and motivating to develop the right mindset
Thank youuu :D
