+mezzyjezze I think you can use a few different scales over this - it's just a one chord vamp which usually opens up a few different options. I agree that B minor would not work, but the B minor pentatonic would, along with B mixolydian, B blues, and B dorian - depending on which sound you're going for.

It's a hybrid blues scale wandering between the major (mixolydian) and the minor (dorian) with the addition of the flat 5th. Spelled out? That being said? Trey really emphasizes the minor tonality when he jams on this using the D# only as a passing tone. So technically......
Well, I *guess* you could play B Minor over this, if you want to sound bluesy. Because minor scales over major chords are cool and sound bluesy. But my ear detects almost no Minor 3 in this. Its actually major. And its B Mixolydian. But sure, play B Minor Pentatonic over it all you want. If thats what you're into....
