_On behalf of _*_insert school name_*_ we would just like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to come out and present to the grade_
The memories this comment jogged in my brain felt like a 'Nam flashback. Good lord.
IM GOING TO SCREAM I WAS EXPECTING THIS
This... THIS
We would all argue over who got to do that.
always the class captains... and the the whole grade has to say "THANK YOU"
The absolute best joke was the "Michael Jackson was a bad man, can't support him, anyway here's the Subway Sandwiches I eat"
must've been the new cookie
Im proud to say that i am the 500th like
Would work if Michael Jackson was actually a bad man, which he isn't. There's lots of evidence to say otherwise.
I love Aunty Donna but this joke is one of their few let-downs.
See, I'm still thinking about how Jared Fogle was a pedophile.
@@OtisNotibrus it’s probably a part of the joke
the coldplay part really made this jesus christ its like im there
Agreed. I lost it at that part 😂
That was like a fucking teleporter
Timestamp?
@@nobodyburgen4594 1:42
I love that song. Soooo nostalgic.
That "as the heroin courses through my veins" joke is layers upon layers.
The slow pan over to the puppet, the implication that this all happened because the puppet(?) didn't focus on their ATARs, the fact that a professional trampolinist is even doing this whole schtick... it's brilliant.
Yet again you’ve hit it outta the park with the extreme realism and have made me incredibly uncomfortable and I hate it. Thanks boys
420th like
Alex Chomkowicz noice👌🏻
Would like the comment, but it's at 420 likes and I don't want to spoil it.
You're kidding, right? This is "unsub bad."
@@Makeshift_Mulder15% off subway salads wraps and sandwiches and you're gonna unsub
that's just poor financial management
1:30 Thought the kid was gonna do the whole "thanks for coming to our school" thing like they do with every guest.
Bryduck The Duck lmao
We once got a talk from a guy called the human calculator. He did a bunch of equations in his head for us then lectured us for an hour on why anti ageing creams were a scam and we should all put Vaseline on our faces...I went to all girls private school that cost about 30 grand a year to attend
This feels like a sketch by itself
Ah, PLC.
@@jessp2317 oh hey! Long time no chat, amazed you remember this too 😂
This has to be one of the most surreal school stories I've ever heard
So how's the vaseline treatment working for ya?
I do trampolining, and it's just so great to finally see representation in such a harsh and unforgiving world of inequity, thank you
wtf ur actually a trampolinist
I bought a Coles MasterCard because of Broden Kelly. Now I owe Coles $350,000 and Curtis Stone said he is coming for my legs.
best comment
What’s new at Coles? Fresh bagged salad only $5.95! Dolmio Pasta Sauce only $2.95! Not getting sledgehammered in the knees by Curtis Stone only 349,999.95! But only at Coles!
Usually just nuts on the feet. You'll be ok.
@@creepycustard2383 bruh I'm in tears 😂😂😂
But there's no annual fee!
Holy shit. A decade ago in high school, we had a former gang affiliate turned professional unicycle stunt rider come in and do backflips on his unicycle while playing the didgeridoo.
I had completely blanked out that memory until I watched this video, thank you.
I feel like it’s lying but it’s too specific to not be. I wish I was there
That's inspiring AF
I mean that's pretty fucking metal
I cannot figure out the physics of doing a backflip on a unicycle at all
I almost spit my beer at the screen reading this. Excellent.
2:49 I lov how he switches the song once he realizes it’s by Michael Jackson
How do you get a round meatball into a sandwich?
*LaTeRaL tHiNkInG*
Woah! I watched the video too!!!
Sorry, but I still couldn't help but remember that the spokesperson of Subway was a convicted paedophile
@@AsianGamerKenji those chocolate chip cookies are really doing it
I always laugh at that
@@RyanLasek what about honey oat bread?
I've stayed up until four AM here in texas to watch aunty donna earlier. I can barely understand what this man is saying. Yes it was worth an entire day of dysfunction.
Bad Username watching from California! Gotta work in the morning but it’s worth it.
This video, and other glenridge secondary college video's sum up Australian school life in a nutshell
Bad Username Australians have a habit of not speaking a word properly but somehow we understand each other
I'm Australian, so this is me with 90% of the scheduled TH-cam vids and Twitch streamers I watch (which are mostly american.)
I'm still in high school. I should see a therapist 👉😎👉
Theonlysaint12 from what i've seen most slang is just a british sounding variant of something like biscuit but with "ies" at the end
I just want to stress to all the non-Australians just how painfully accurate this is.
oh we know
Its even worse when it's "ex drug addicts" who found God and now try and force it on a whole school at a 3 hour assembly
@@flinticusmaximus5687 Sounds about American.
@@rjaxxxas the sad thing is, I'm Australian.
@@flinticusmaximus5687 Funny, we could of had some gold.
Love that fact that after about 4 years of watching the boys Zach still never fails with the happy go lucky man with the sad backstory, which isn’t a bad thing, I love watching Zach laugh so hard he starts to cry
Am I evil
It's hilarious how he screams mid laugh
"High five! Sorry I can't actually touch you because i don't have my working with children check yet"
Lmao
I really enjoyed Mark in this sketch
Definitely the highlight
@@thefaulkness interesting
I feel sorry for the people that missed out on this because they were kept back for talking.
HI YAAA
@@alexprimefx That's it *I*
They Missed Out On That Opportunity.
somehow I'm less motivated after watching this
More motivated to not end up like that!! #cautionarytale
@@Fionntan993 "somehow", nah this is way too accurate to not make me uncomfortable as fuck
Speak for yourself bloke
I was typing a report when he said that you shouldn't be typing during a presention and was scared he was talking to me somehow... 😅😂😂
Ah Shelly Craft
In the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi: “That’s a name I have not heard in a long time”
Deep Cut
This is especially accurate for australian speakers
HmMmM I WoNdEr Why?!
because you've been around the world and seen many different motivational speakers to compare?
Just like the teacher sketch, this is surprisingly grounded in reality which only elevates the comedy tenfold. Those screams in existential agony at the end sounded so real and guttural lol
And Broden using the presentation time to catch up on planning or other work on his laptop is accurate for teachers too
Zacks exuding a real Chris Lilley type vibe and I like it.
Definitely. This felt a lot like Phil Olivetti
What fuck you on about, there wasn't even any blackface!?
@@rorybray7356 yes! And a bit of Mr G
Yeah, I was getting that same vibe in this sketch.
2:02 I thought he was going to say “I think to myself, what a wonderful world”
I like to think that the extras in this weren't told it was a comedy skit and believe Zach is a real motivational speaker.
To be fair, that wouldn't be much of a stretch....
Every new episode brings back a memory of high school I thought I'd repressed...
The kids watching him deserve a medal for being able to look that bored. How could anyone sit through this without totally losing it?
List of true inspiring people who came to our school: Midnight Oil. A rapper who was a child soldier in Africa who went to meet Julia Gillard too. A police officer who foiled a bank robbery off duty and was awarded the VC. A 17 year old who had a bunch of complex medical issues and was only estimated to live to about 6. Some Swiss paralympians. A soldier who survived a helicopter crash in Afghanistan and dragged out all of his mates, dead and alive.
Then yeah, we had a bunch of these clowns too😂. Aunty Donna has once again perfectly captured the Australian school experience.
The "and I bounce here today, jk I drove" gets me everytime I love it
The fact it literally looks like a 1-for-1 replica of the gym where we had to have assemblies fucking hell
“How do you get round meatballs into a sandwich? Lateral thinking” might be one of the funniest lines of all time 😂😂😂
It's been 4 years and that sentence is still stuck in my head
I love when he starts projecting his own failures on them.
I pointed out the heroin puppet joke earlier but I honestly think this might just be one of the best comedy sketches on TH-cam when it comes to pound-for-pound funny bits.
I can't even begin to LIST them, but I can try. Him saying you'll become a heroin addict if you don't go well on your ATARs but also that "you are not your ATAR," the random bits of gradually more and more unfitting trampolining music, him having to go and whisper "don't let them fucking get to you" after a single joke doesn't land, saying "sorry to swear" when he says "pretty effing early" but then telling a kid whose dad doesn't use blockchain to "get fucked," the fact he even brings up blockchain in the first place, him calling out someone for using their laptop during the presentation only for it to pan over and for it to BE THE TEACHER, him playing a video that's a thing he already said... this is like a triple threat- great concept, disturbingly accurate, and maddeningly funny.
Brilliant performance. Not since Mr Moustache Man have I been so captivated. 👏
Surely a winner at the next Aunty Donna Awards!
Just got my atar results this week and I really needed this
AUSTRALIA, we've got a VERY exciting announcement coming this Friday, sign up to our mailing list to find out more. bit.ly/ADmailinglist
Because optus are shit cunts i cant
@Jeremy yeah mate, Imyself am a little bit lost about that one
I signed up
I don't want to sign up can you reply to my comment to let me know pleae
Please make a 30 minute comedy show on the abc.
Loved the, “focus on your ATAR” and yet “you are not your ATAR”, non aussies might not get that
I feel like you could sub in the name of every other country’s end of school exams and you’d get the same result
The green and gold outfit the guy’s wearing is so iconic Aussie
I watched this video every day for the last 30 years
I don't understand why this doesn't have a billion views this is literally comedy gold
Having a hard time... this is so good for my mood right now my boys.
This has to be my favourite video from Auntie Donna so far... I was in tears
I came here from the weekly planet. I haven't stopped laughing hysterically this whole video. I'll definitely be spending all my time for the foreseeable future watching this. Awesome to see great entertainers succeed!
Seriously this is one of Aunty Donnas best. Just solid and relatable comedy.
For the first half of this video I was utterly convinced that it must have been filmed in my old high school. Turns out that apparently all high-school halls look identical!
Oh god, "you are not your atar" sent me into a fit of laughter. I can't tell you how many times i've heard that
What does it mean?
1:23 "The Craigieburn Store" mate there's three Subway stores in Craigieburn so that's a bit of a misnomer there mate. I hope someone got fired for that blunder
I live in craigieburn so the fact that i now know that he is a manager at the subway makes me want to go there everyday just to see him
I love how he's talking to himself against the wall trying to psyke himself up
watched this at the end of my lunch break... now im motivated to wait for knock off so i catch up on aunty donna
Love the commitment to the laugh turning into existential crying at the end.
Him asking questions and not even waiting for a response is so perfect
I LOVE how he just randomly says "lol" instead of laughing.
I graduated highschool almost 3 years ago and this has dragged me kicking and screaming right back in
Surly one of the kids thanks “Stephen” for coming
I now feel incredibly motivated, I don't know what for but I'm generally motivated
Can’t believe you guys were able to get peter helliar again!!
Very disappointed, went to the Subway in Craigieburn to speak to the Manager and he was out doing a motivational speech.
I seriously cannot wait for the outtakes of this series.
Can we get that trampoline workout playlist real quick those were some bangeres
Ahh, sweet memories of Centrelink motivational courses. Especially the 'motivator' playing the exact same video on tv that he just presented live (only our guy waited until his third day before doing that)
Zach literally looks like a completely different person when you can't see his hair.
You forgot this one.
Speaker: how is everyone feeling to day?
Crowd: good
Speaker: (*the ol’ reliable I can’t here you*)
Crowd (with slightly more enthusiasm) good
HE DOES AT 0:20
half the kids are only thinking about how this is taking up their last lesson to get that god damn english assignment done and for WHAT? This trampoline man??? No, vice-principal. This was NOT worth it. I'm working 4 hours tonight! How am I meant to do that and an assignment in it's entirety? Damn you, you foul beast!
Holy shit rewatching this years later is even better
By far my favourite Aunty Donna sketch.
the memes being out of date makes this even better
I love how painfully realistic that $150 number is.
"Nah mate, tell ya dad to get fucked" is the most Australian thing I have heard today.
Man, I really felt that yell at the end. I'm sorry, Steven.
3:08 Me when I see my professor didn't put anything on the test in the study guide
my year level had a motivational speaker come in to talk to us about exams a few days ago and holy shit this is too accurate
I lost it at 1:54 😂
3.25 my god. That emotion Zac brought out. I truly felt that haha too fucking real 🤣
I've never been this early and I'm so proud
thanks for this guys! feel so motivated now!
The Bitcoin shorts joke got me so goo oh you done well bois.
I bet Mark was happy that Zac had all his shorts liquidated the scream was beautiful
Him saying "effing", and apologizing for swearing, then dropping an entire f-bomb when talking about crypto is such a good detail.
I lost it when he hit the dab if you can even call it that
The Saturday Disney reference was relatable.
Why doesn’t this have more views it’s so funny and accurate
I love Zach being so invested in the character, fucking great actor man
Steven Bradbury came to our school for an “inspirational” speech one time so this is all too real😂
This felt like it was the longest sketch ive ever watched
0:31 is perfection
We had a motivatiobal speaker, someone who climbed Everest at a young age. Half an hour of bullshit such as "you can do whatever you put your mind to". The entire time skirting around the only relevant fact: his family's extreme wealth.
in primary school we had a guy come in that tried to convince us that T-Rexes didnt eat meat
It's sad to see that our boys have to have other jobs just to make ends meet, Michelle forced to work as a nurse and now Zachy boy is a trampoliner and a subway artist. Modern Australia for ya.
christeebs it’s just the identity theft hustle they have going.
I had a motivational talker come to me school a week a go... Freakishly accurate
It's so accurate every time
The outro bits are the best parts of these videos 😂
One of my favorite AD sketches
2:24 (Round Meatballs)
3:02 (Round Meatballs II)
Best one of the series so far.
Anyone else have that motivational speaker that climbed a mountain? The only thing I remember about him is that he climbed a mountain lol.
Thank you Steven, once again i have learned a valuable life skill from one of my most influential mentors. Now i can be motivated all thanks to the power of trampolining
Bloody awesome!
DAMmmmnMmn DoNnNA baCk At iT aGAainn with The EpIQ skEtcHESs!!!!! BOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIiiiIIiIOoOII!!!!1!11!!
