Damn Bouke came into his own as a sex symbol when he grew that beard, not withstanding the fact that the man can truly SING, as a dyed in the wool Elvis fan I'd normally turn away from "tribute artists" but I can't get enough of this young man
I've been a fan of Bouke for about six years. As you said, he's very talented. At this point he has the duty to carry on with the elvis thing. He even tries to get into it physically, which is taxing for a 40ish guy. He also does tributes to Tom Jones. He has done some non-Elvis songs in English which are excellent. I wish he could carve out a name for himself without feeling the obligation of doing the Elvis thing. He needs to step outside the box and be himself and use his natural voice and talent. I hope he doesn't wear himself out with his role. He needs to go in a new direction and not go through the motions for another half decade.
He is killing himself if this is a talent show and he decides to present himself as an Elvis Impersonator because in the Industry he is shooting himself in the foot because now he will be put in the same area as Drag Queens or Female Impersonators but he is just a copy cat and there are thousands out there doing the same thing....so sad he had a good voice but the recording industry here wont promote him here in America...Im a record producer here and so I know what Im talking about...Sorry
He doesn't need to be promoted here in America. He has his own production company and his own music beyond when he does tributes to Elvis. His own music is fabulous. Check out his gold album This is Me
he's been invited at Graceland several times,way before thuis show..he met Lisa Marie,Ginger Alden,the Sweet Temptations...The Presleys know him..for years.. Bouke is sold out till 2025..lmao
