    I have used my ninja duo with auto-iq every day for the last 4 years. I get excellent results for smoothies, sauces, dressings, soups, salsa, pico de gallo, pesto, grind coffee beans,, and homemade hummus. I found the smaller blending cups get smoother results than the large container. I love my ninja!

      We didn't use it so much the first year but much more recently.

    Good demo, better than any of the "professional" ones. I was starting to think it was just a blender because people only show it making drinks and puree.

      You can of course buy it as just as blender 😉 thanks!

    Thanks for a review! Totally awesome. I couldn’t find any review for a few days that shows how this machine chops. Great video. 👌🏻actually all blenders are (at this price) very noisy. If you want a quite one then it will cost you no less than 500euros. I already ordered this one! Btw my neighbor is really a pain in the ass so I can’t wait to start using this machine!!!😂 and we do have a very thin walls...🤪

    • @kunicross
      @kunicross  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wonder how you even could make chopping ice silent

  • @frazzeldazzeldum
    @frazzeldazzeldum 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Thank you for the review. It helped me make a decision. I damaged my hearing as a child and have tinnitus as well, so I am worried about the noise level of this machine - everyone says it's extremely noisy, but I guess that's just to be expected. My solution will probably be to only use it when the kids aren't around.

    • @kunicross
      @kunicross  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ear plugs would be a cheap and good way to avoid hearing damage especially in a small kitchen and - the kids do evacuate the kitchen quite fast whenever the ninja runs. (in our case at least).
      I think it could definitely cause hearing damage especially if you crush ice 3 times a day with it.
      Guess I really have to search for my noise meter...

    • @frazzeldazzeldum
      @frazzeldazzeldum 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      kunicross Yeah, I'll definitely have to take precautions as I don't want my kids to suffer hearing damage like me. Unfortunately we live in an open-plan small flat, so the kitchen and living room is one big room. And my main purpose is to make smoothies with ice. Ear plugs are a good idea, thanks, I'll try that to start with. Thanks for replying!

    • @kunicross
      @kunicross  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In a big room it's probably not as bad, distance works quite good for hearing protection.

    Very detailed review thanks for the effort! I just returned my Philips food processor and considering this one because somehow the disc for mine seemed wobbly and looking for a new food processor with more sturdy disc to shred raw sweet potatoes... have you tried shredding raw sweet potato without any problems with this machine?

    Thank you. Nice review. I'm about to buy the same model.After 3 years, are you still happy with the quality of this blender?

    • @kunicross
      @kunicross  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, about everything still works, I only cut myself once or twice with the blender blade and the security pin which shows that the lid is attached on the food processor broke - I guess somebody must have dropped it hard but I only found the defect much later else I might have been able to glue them back on. (now I rigged the pin down and created a potential hazard source...)
      But everything else is still working fine after the time with using maybe once-twice per week and cleaning in the dishwasher.
