    7:17 - I feel what Steven is saying. When I directed my very first documentary, my entire crew were assholes to me, never listened to me, stole credit for my work and the producers where only 19 years old and knew nothing about filming and they also hated me..they even prevented me from hiring a helicopter for shots which i was willing to pay for myself. I am glad Steven did what he did and I am glad that I watched this to learn that one of the greatest film directors of all time went through the same thing. It gives me hope. Thanks for uploading this Stonecoldmark0316.

    The man believes in himself, his abilities and his love of cinema. I admire that. I'd like to love something that much.

    stephen spielberg is my all time favorite director and I've had a dream of meeting him in person ever since I was a little kid. Till this day I still have hope I will some day fulfil that dream but spielberg is apparently 69 years old now and he's obviously not going to live forever. Also due to the fact that so many famous people have been dyeing this year, mr spielberg could possibly leave us at any minute. hang in there stephen, and I am not going to give up on my dream of meeting you :)

    Jaws, Indiana Jones, E.T ,close encounters, Jurrasic park, I don't think any director would come close to the amazing track record that spielberg has almost every movie he's made is iconic

    His uncle worked for universal and steven worked there in the summer when he was a teenager. there's a snopes article on it….

    • @adamzanzie
      @adamzanzie 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It wasn't an uncle. It was Chuck Silvers, the Universal librarian, who was an acquaintance of Spielberg's father Arnold.

    Some say david lean the best director or Alfred hitchcock or quentin tarantino but to me its spielberg.He knows his audience and what he likes in movies is what I generally like.

    Mr. Spielberg contradicts himself alot, both on the bathroom story and the creation of ET, but other than that same story every time :) Always brilliant, never realized how enthusiastic he really is :)
