That is super cute. I already have a mini blossom from altenew and it’s my go to machine most of the time. It’s tucked away on my desk. I also have the big shot (manual) and the big shot switch.

I really like how small my little Tim Holtz ( sissix) one is. But wish it was about an inch wider to accommodate more of my dies. I have my large machine. But love the convenience of the little machine and always keeping it handy at my desk. But think I will be on the lookout for something a little wider. An inch or so I think would do it.
This is one of a couple of reasons I am really a fan of this machine. Not only is the platform 3 1/2 inches wide, but it's such a solid platform too. Have had great success with arranging dies in place. Thank you for watching. I appreciate your insight for sure.

The struggle is real!!! Yes. I had a moment before I cut on those plates. And then I just did it. Because ya can't make the pretty without making a bit of a mess first. 😃

I keep thinking I don’t need a small machine. And then I saw this one! I realized that a lot of my dies are small enough for this. The only ones that aren’t are the background shapes and the large multi-word dies. I love the color of this one, too. Thanks for the demo!

Jamie, I have the same problem-being a collector of die cut machines. I have 2 digital electric, 3 electric, 2 manual, and I’m about to get two more small manual ones. 😅 So glad to see you doing an unboxing of this so I know what to expect when I get my own Scout soon! I could host a die cutting party. 😂

QUESTION Did you have to stagger the cutting plates to get them to go through? In the beginning it seemed they were perfectly aligned but later they were staggered a bit.

3.5" is just TOO SMALL. I have the diamond press which cuts 4.25" -- it is excellent -- but I wish it were wider. No multiple confusing plates, just a folder. I, unfortunately bought that horrible anna griffin "cuddlebug". Horrible, does NOT cut the dies- misses most of the dies, even when I can barely turn the handle.
