I love that docker from deimos (the nova galactic one too). It's only 1 mass and acts just like a standard docker. It looks like it's a hab, but you don't enter it. It gives you mounting options for weapons and also a structure to give shape and make things like your grav drive look like it makes sense stuck on the top. Very useful for a small-as-you-can build.
The more I watch the initial intro view the more I think: isn't this just Deimos' version of the Discovery? As I think someone else said, you can find Daggers being used by the UC. 5:23, when you looked at the sink the Galley workstation prompt appeared. I like the folding armatures of the landing legs, definitely gives a 'old tech' vibe.
There's a ship encounter with a "derelict" UC Dagger so I assume the reason it's not in Ecliptic colors is because it's actually a UC ship they didn't make a specific variant of. I can't recall ever running across a crewed UC Dagger though.
12:30 About the A class drives, There is a special one on Volii (Neon) that requires SD rank 4 but only level 12. It gives you 28 power, which is great for early/mid game.
Interestingly I just ran across another Dagger. I was at some randomly generated Industrial Outpost and the woman Paisley Hopkins was out walking her pet alien thing and she was flying a Dagger.
There are multiple versions of the Dagger - the “normal” ones can be brought from the Deimos staryard (or other places you can get the normal Deimos ships from) plus you can find UC labelled ones flying around in UC-controlled areas, I think it’s just that the area that one is found has a set variant programmed in (the most basic one) that doesn’t change with player level
Most ships will have uc or freestar variants. The only difference is a colour scheme. Those versions are easier to acquire, but you may have to commit a crime to get them
@@CrimsonFlyboy never seen a Freestar Dagger, I’ve seen generic UC ones and UCSec ones, oddly never UCSysDef though, maybe they know it’s not a very good ship 🤣
If you swap out the grav drive, fuel tanks, reactor, add habs, change the engines, replace the shields, add some cargo, you can make this a great battle cruiser. Love the reviews and the upgrade suggestions.
This ship looks like the stealth version of the starter ship. Mostly because of the less rounded, more edgy elements. But it´s kind of cool. Almost like the starter ship is the little sibling, this one is the edgy teen sibling XD
Yeah, it's like Deimos' competing model to Nova Galactic's Discovery class. If you want more of a 'metal tech' look compared to the Nasa lines of NG then this might be the starter ship for you.
Aww. I landed there thinking it was a new town. When I saw it was am enemy base, I took off cause I was in the middle of a quest. Lol now I need to head back. Also I just went through your playlist. It looks like you haven't reviewed the Frontier yet. Are you saving the best ship in the game for last?( Or did I just miss it lol)
Well, if you compare the ship with how many enemies you have to plow your way through. The ship it self ain't worth it. But with the possibil contraband loot it is.
I mean, from a lore pov yeah it's not worth it unless you want to rid the area of the mercs, but from an exp and loot pov, it's probably one of the most densely populated enemy areas
That settlement only show up if you find a note off a dead ecliptic
That's good to know

" isn't this just Deimos' version of the Discovery?" I had the same thought. :)

Haha! I just picked this up last night and my first thought was if you had done a breakdown yet. Cheers!

The galley is usable. The activator for it is next to the sink.
Yeah, I just recently found this out. I didn't realise you had to look at a specific item to get the prompt
@@CrimsonFlyboyPoor design on Bethesda's part. Just thought I would point it out.

It's the Frontier
if every part was swapped from Nova to Deimos equivalents
It's like if the Frontier was made by Deimos lol
It seems to me that this ship served as the basis for the Razorleaf; has similar lines...
It's the Deimos version of the Frontier
But more importantly, how did you get 11 ship slots?
I was looking at the vendor at that point
@@CrimsonFlyboy -Shazbot!
Just so everyone’s aware… the galley does work on the Dagger. You are able to cook food onboard
Yeah, I figured this out way later in my reviews haha, you have to look at a very specific spot to get thr trigger

I like the original layout as a RPG vibe for a ship/home. No muss, no fuss.

I am indeed saving it for last

really like this videos! thanks for making them
You can cook in the living quarter hab, you just have to point your mouse at the sink. You did it in the video for half a second
I only realised that in another recording that the kitchen actually functions
