  • Autumn Creek HOA, like many other Homeowners Associations, was throwing money at landscaping and pond maintenance year after year. After learning the benefits of native plants, the landscaping board decided to switch their approach and naturalize the ponds with native plants. In just two years, their ponds have become wildlife habitats and beautiful spaces that their residents can enjoy.
The Conservation Foundation advised Autumn Creek through their transition to naturalized stormwater ponds, connected the landscaping board to restoration specialists, and presented a webinar to residents about the restoration. So good to hear of this partnership that will create a lasting improvement for Autum Creek. Hopefully other HOAs in the area can learn from their experience and improve surrounding communitities which can then strengthen and increase the natural biodiversity of the greater area.

They are also adding natives around their buildings! My company is bidding on this work. 😁👍🌿🌿🌿
