Fun facts: the voicemail was his brother. The piano/keys were being played by Mac himself. Imagine the headspace he was in to write this song. He was an amazing musician and so introspective and able to dive into complex emotions that it’s just beautiful. I identified with the song so much that the first time I heard it, it brought me to tears. I hope these masterpieces are discovered by future generations.

He was/is my favorite "rapper" not because of his actual rapping ability which was good/fine but just due to how genuine he was as seen in songs like this. Such a crazily unique artist that spoke about his problems in ways no artist has done imo. Not to mention how great n respectful he was in interviews- just such a great human all around.

I was obsessed with it When it came out. Not one song do I Ever skip. I remember when I first heard him say that he doesn't want to overdose and people his Tellin mom, and yeah that whole part, gave me the worst feeling when he was still here. I felt like it was a premonition.. the fact that it's exactly what happened is really sad and scary. I don't like when people talk about themselves passing away I feel like your speaking it into existence.. Mgk does it a lot and I hate it. It makes it way harder to listen to if something does happen to them. I love mgk and I always worry about him the most when I think about who else this could happen too artist Wise. Pete davidson And Hopsin are always on the top of my concerned list. So glad to see Hopsin new video saying therapy really helped him and he's not in a dark place anymore. Mgk seems really happy as well right Now.. Megan just better not break his heart. And he better not give up on rap completely either.
