Its basically the same in french as große is basically gros which in french means big. The ß sounds like "s" so they're basically the same. Das means the and finale means finale (as it would suggest)

That level at 4:20 is actually Megaton Vase Hole from the popular fan game Super Mario Bros. X (As shown by SMBX). It's a near perfect recreation, which is why you had to use multiple bob-ombs to blow up all the bricks. It's a pretty cool level, actually!
