Im using a Glitch called "Moonboots" to make myself 15% lighter, to give me even more range and speed with the grapple. Captured in private matches.
This is not only 5min of satisfying slingshots but also a bit of a Map showcase. Because there is at least one Slingshot on every of the 15 large scale Titan maps in this video. Titanfall 2 also has 6 small scale Pilot maps. But they are too small to massively Slingshot on them.
Well i guess im buying titanfall 2 right now

The gunplay, modes, titans, everything about this game is good, but the movement is on another level. Unmatched and extremely fluid especially if you master it.

adonidem it’s because many people didn’t buy it since the first one didn’t do too well, also many people didn’t realize this game was multi platform. The first one was an xbox exclusive. I think if the game was marketed better and players fully knew what they were getting it would’ve done well from launch.
Also because EA sandwiched it’s release between Battlefield and CoD, which is a death sentence for a FPS
So this is the dude already in my spawn as soon as the game starts

Like litelary every player with 500+ hours can get behind enemy team before they even get to the half of the map with just normall movement but yea with grapple you can get those jucy flanks on them but for example me I always go 1v6 so yea grapple hurts me more than it helps quite often xd

Not sure, Many pc fps die because of no support or no players, the 2 things combine and there's no production, devs are scared to invest and players are scared to engage with low playerbase, or devs dont have money to improve because of low sales, but titanfall is somewhere inbetween; I would have liked to try it at peak because personally the mode that is playable atm at least on ps4 is only the one with minions and it actually doesnt make the game enjoyable for me; just opinions

Every time I look at these montages, even though I've never played Titanfall 2, it makes me feel nostalgic. It makes me think of places I haven't yet explored, places I haven't yet gone, things I haven't done.
The fluidity and perfection of this craft is just beautiful. It reminds me of when I was a little kid in first grade. Carefree. Exploring the world around me.
Everything only had the limit that I put to it.

Hey ik I’m 6 months late to this but I’ve rewatched this video at least 10 times. The game is so unbelievably beautiful and the maps scenery makes you realize that there is othe stuff bigger than you, it makes me so happy and nostalgic seeing this game and the efforts that red pawn put into it with no recognition

One of my favourite thing about titanfall attrition is how dynamic everything is, from grunts running from titans to fighter jet dogfights to even goblins being destructible!
in one it was way better. just stuff going on all over. attrition wasnt in titanfalll 2 at launch and it shows.

You can do these without moon boots pretty easily with enough experience, took me a bit to learn but it's honestly so much cooler once you can feel gravity pull harder on you

3:43 how did you get that so perfect? How many tries (on average) did it take for you to do each of the grapple b-hop things?
That example. 4 tries. By luck. Hit the first bhop only o the first and fourth try. And it the fourth I also hit the 2nd bhop perfectly with a bit of luck. On average 5-10 tries. But some also 15
Grapple B hops all have set ranges so you can figure out the distances with some time, most grapple and Bhop spots are preset into the map for players to find so its a part of map knowledge.
If you are wondering why it looks so smooth and grace
A. He is on mouse and keyboard so that’s the smooth turning
B. He is using a little glitch that involves north star called “moon boots” which decreases gravity’s effect on a player, making that beautiful floating look
Its honestly amazing seeing you make these grapple slingshots because I play this game and I know how hard this type of slingshot can be. I’ve been idolizing you for months. It would be cool if you could show us some gameplay in like apex legends where you use these advanced movement techniques in an actual fight.

It took me a few weeks how master the grapple hook and it payed off in the long run

The Source Engine (Yes that one for Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike Global Offensive) has always been so fantastic for movement, that's why there's an amazing Surf community. Makes me wish Valve were as knowledgeable with their own engine unlike Respawn were. Could have been more games with movement as satisfying as this for sure

Additionally, the release date of Titanfall 2 was mishandled to such a degree that it was lost in the flood of competing franchises. On a final note, comparing the two isn't functionally effective. They're entirely different in presentation, marketing, and the impact streamers have had on the game's visibility. Titanfall 2 didn't have the same visibility outlets whatsoever. I'm telling you again, comparing them on a strictly economic chart isn't a viable valuation of the games themselves.

Apex Legends did not have any marketing prior to it's release and still topped any videogame in history while TitanFall was marketed so much that when I didn't even own a modern console, I already knew that it was about massive machines in war and that they were controlled by pilots!

0:05 Air strafing, lands on a slope and gets that satisfying speed and slide, yep, definitely Source Engine.
No... slide hopping keeps the speed he had from the slingshot and strafe. He hit the slope perfectly enough to where he didn't scrape it and lose speed.

The movement mechanics can be found in different games etc cs:go. I'm pretty sure Titanfall runs on a different customized version of source but either way it still runs on source, love this game.

This is the guy that’s put in my game when I want to play CTF sometimes on my time others times on the enemy, few times it’s mostly a lobby of them
I lost my account on ps4 and bought the game digitally. No longer can play. It was the only game I have ever 100%. I spent probably 20+ hours on the gauntlet achievement alone. And playing the game over and over again on every difficulty never got boring. It’s story was a breath of fresh air for the FPS genre and when BT dies I actually felt something. The moments spent with fandoms and friends as a pilot were some of my most fondest memories. Titanfall 2 has a special place in my heart and the whole release date issue and marketing bomb fire that was EA with that game actually makes me so sad because this game should have been so much better with a bigger player base. Titanfall and Apex are amazing and have proven themselves again and again .I’m sorry for wetting myself over this game but thank you Respawn for everything.

Damn, they really suceeded with this game. In a rookies eyes “it’s just another COD with robots” but in a veterans eye this truly is a masterpiece. Everything is pin point perfect about this game. Excep L-Star, F you L-Star and all of the smart pistol users.
SmartBoi Mostly fuck sentry turrets. For me, they really feel like they have no place in a game like this. It's annoying to die from a literal pixel perfect aim bot with a long range and ten times the health of a normal pilot instead of someone else's actual aim and maneuvering. It's avoidable, just a pain in the ass that breaks up the otherwise flawless moment to moment gameplay.

Yes, that’s somewhat true but, we have to remember that this pilot could’ve worked hard for this, it’s not always that they work the way you wanted them to. There’s almost always a way to flank it and it’s quite easy considering there are multiple counters to turrets, just work with whatever fits you or quick switch around the abilities in your loadout. And the thing about the 10x health, it can be one shot with a melee and i think an ARCHER does quite good.
@@smuggen Even if it is easy to take out, it's still a skilless gimmick that breaks the flow of the otherwise fast paced skill based PvP. It's like if every few minutes a wall spawns right in front of you and makes you deal a ton of damage to it to continue moving. When it's not unfair, it's easy to take out but never fun.
fov really does magic with the speed sence, with low fov it might look like being slow but its just a illusion, once you set the fov on the right settings is where you realize that you where a lot faster than you thought

I did that a couple days ago, And then remembered why I stopped.
I wanna be happy the games populated again but its populated by players that didnt grow with the original community and they all just wanna cheese or dont understand that theres things in the game that are brokenly good.
Used to be you could play TF2 and not see a single G2 or spitfire for a good few matches because everyome was playing fair, now everyone uses them.
It's a shame, TF|2 was godly and remains my favourite shooter but its practically unplayable for me now.
Not only are these grapples gorgeous, a few have very practical game applications.
The route on Complex he took is a game changer for CTF.
The Boomtown route can be used for a quick battery pull in LTS.
No grappling with the flag tho

Fun fact: very early on devolopment apex legends was originally intendet to be the sequel to titanfall 2 in other words it was meant to be titanfall 3 before scrapping the idea and creating apex legends, which is connected to the titanfall universe as the lore and devoloped with the same engine

Although if it was a titanfall 3 i dont think it would have been a normal one, i mean they scrabed the idea for a reason, maybe it wad meant to be titan3 but would have been battle royale, i think to not dissapoint the core fanbase of titan they changed it, but if it was originally titanfall then changed to apex legends that meams titan3 was certainly a battle royale, they would just change the whole idea and the genre, also... i dont think titanfall 3 would have gotten the same popularity that apex took the first months, i remember everyone in the world talking about it in the launcv of the game and numbers reaching millions in only the first week

Holly u make me want to buy this game so damn bad. I main pathfinder on apex with 10k kills. And I've mastered the movement on bo3. This games got both of my favorite aspects.

Mokeysniper I must this game has the wallrun and boost mechanics of black ops 3 and has the mechanics of Apex but not in battle royale form making this even more awseome. Both my favorite games of all time. Is there still a good amount of players in this game.
The movement that respawn has made is what makes titanfall one of my favorite fps games and it's the reason apex is my favorite br. Respawn really know what they're doing when making passionate projects. The movement is unmatched by any game I've ever played and apex's team centered br makes it more enjoyable than other brs
Hopefully respawn make a TF3, i really dislike apex and the whole battle royal genera, but i love the style they make their games
