Sorry for the delay!
PART 2 is upon us! A lot of this footage was created on the spot so it jumps around but I wouldn't have it any other way! It was a really fun trip and we can't express enough how much it has meant to Heather and me. In the next couple of uploads, I'm putting together some of the unused footage from all of these visits. So THAT should be an awesome collection!
This year was super challenging and it still tends to throw curve balls but here we are at the end of summer 2022 and I'm happy to say that we had more family visits this year than ever! We look forward to more visits but it seems that we will be making a trip stateside before anyone else makes it over here. I miss me some Waffle House!

As an ex-Army vet that was stationed in Germany, It is my second home that I travel back to frequently and I have to say, I used to smoke and I quit twenty years ago but you are right, They do smoke so much there. My German ex-wife along with my adult daughter still smoke but they do show some respect since I don't smoke and go outside and smoke when I come visit. I have an apartment there that my daughter is living in and she will not smoke inside.
Wow! To me, it feels like Germany has slowed down in smoking, it's something I never would have believed back in the 1990's. I smoked for a while myself and am really glad I gave it up! Thanks for watching our channel!

We appreciate you watching! Yes! you'd be surprised how popular American shows are! They have Naked and Afraid, Big Bang Theory, ALL the crime shows! It's a crazy thing to see. There used to be a select few like Alf and Magnum PI. (ha, I'm old) Thanks for watching!
If you think Germans smoke a lot, try Southern and Eastern Europe 😅 It's a lot worse there, mainly because cigarettes are so much cheaper. But I understand, I'm a non smoker and I don't like the smell either
Hi Kidan! I've heard that where we live in Germany is not as bad as other areas! Heather is smoking these electric things and I always give her a hard time about it🤣 but yes, same...the smell gets to me! Thanks for watching and subscribing!

Point 5 is a pedestrians and bikers thing in europe and the lack in the US.
Towns are build for ppl not for cars.
In the US you will never see a Mercedes taxi 🤣 It's like seeing a Ford Mustang taxi in Germany. I agree about the towns built for people. New York has a problem 🤣
