I started with travelers notebook, I really loved it, but after my daughter flew the coop I started my hobonichi journey, but I miss it often. I am not ashamed of what I buy, I work very hard and I like stickers, thats my vibe, I will use, gift, or sell whatever Im not using. I am excited to follow this journey with you❤
I got my TN pencilboard on Amazon - Sunsets and Scribbles. It's a hard plastic and I stuck a Leuchtterm pen holder to it and then just clasp it to the front of one of my notebooks. Works beautifully. Also, you sound so happy here, which is amazing to hear and I'm happy you found a way to be happy with your planners.

I love how much joy you’re having with a new planner! I really like travelers notebooks. I use them as well as other planners. Your channel content is always great so it doesn’t matter which planner/layout you share. I watch them all 💕
I got into the TN system thanks to you last year and it made me fall in love with planning again ! I have a cover from Amazon that was 20 dollars and came with a clear pouch insert ,craft folder, jump band, clip , pen loop and three inserts. It’s real leather too , so anyone who is looking for an alternative cheaper version would love that (the brand is September leather )

I just started in a TN standard as well. I purchased a Hobonichi HON for 2024. I don't know what led me to try the TN standard so I did and I love it!!! I can throw it in my bag and take it with me and it's not heavy like the hobonichi HON. I love you are using this. I get so many ideas from you. ☺💙

FYI: Lauren Phelps Designs sells plastic covers (with different pocket combinations) that allow you to use 3 + booklets all one strap. I think that might help with your new TN.

I set myself up with a Traveler's style notebook system this year... it is so nice to have everything together in one place without carrying a huge heavy binder! There are tons of special editions and accessories to use with it! I ordered the brown buffalo leather cover from Amazon- the company was September Leather. Gorgeous!!!! I wish you much success with your new system.

Gaaahhh. So excited for you. I love all of my TNs, but my olive that I use as my wallet and had customized by Baum Kuchen is my absolute favorite. Your giddiness is contagious.
i was screaming with excitement along with you. I really love my TN and while it isn't my main planner, I use it every day. I watched a video on how to add a second string and it has been a real game changer. The inserts lay more flat and line up better in the cover, so you can add what you like without the overhang.
I love TNs and agree they’re making a comeback! Have you watched Dabbling in Journals? Different planning styles but TNs on another level xx

Miso paper and the journal shop are good for TN bits anf the london graphic centre, with them you can do click and collect to a rymans shop.

I started the year in an A5 Kinbor but I'm just using it. Have tried rings before & just to bulky. After watching this I'm going to try out a TN...watch this space!!

Love your excitement! Btw The "official" jump bands they sell lay flat in the book crease! The ends are attached together with a little metal snap thing so you wouldn't have the bumps from the knots.
There are also "off brand" ones I've seen on amazon.

I've move in to a passport TN its was just the right decision for me.
Excited to see your new journey in your TN. I just bought some Traveler's Company inserts. Right now I am enjoying B6 size, but TN are definitely on the top of the list for me. Big planners are over rated and I am enjoying the freedom of a blank page or undated planners. I believe my Hoboweeks will phase out into Standard TNs in the coming year. I just never really understood the draw of travelers notebooks, I hate the band bumps and the covers are litterally just an unfinished square of leather, 🤷♀️ to each their own, I really don't get it, but I agree they seem to be making a come back.
I've always been a one-book planner, gotta have everything integrated and in one planner otherwise things fall through the cracks. I've also been in A6 for the past 5-6 years now, seems to be the perfect size for me no matter what's going on in my life. I was in a blank a6 nanami cafe notebook last year (in a gillio appunto cover) and moved over into an A6 compagna (rings) for this year, I just needed the flexibility and organization that rings provide.

I’m excited for you! I was just at a local stationery shop today and was looking at the standard tn…I haven’t been able to mesh well with the passport or a6 and considering jumping ship myself! I’m looking forward to what you share since I always get such inspiration from your videos 💜
I did set up a passport TN quite awhile ago and I just could not get into it. It was too small for me. That put me off buying the regular for awhile but oh my God, I’m so glad I bought it.
I'm really laughing so hard. I told you I was changing, I tried the Traveler's first. I gave up, but I think it is because I had the vertical planner in it. I think I will try the horizontal undated before I totally rule it out. Good luck!

I have my stalogy in my travelers notebook. I use a CS Bella cascade narrow cover. 😊
Becky is back in town! 😊. I love the TN system but not so much the travellers tn. I personally prefer a bigger tn like eternal leather etc. it’s the way the books aren’t uniform it bugs me. I don’t know why travellers don’t do an extra wide tn. Good to see the passion is back Becky x

I have the blue TN and it is very dark, barely distinguishable from black. It looks great with the mustard string, too. It's what I'm rocking right now, actually.

I think I know what’s coming…excited if I’m right. You might like the LaurenPhelpsDesign TN sleeve too. It makes it so you don’t need jump bands…shared recently if you want to see what it’s all about.

I knew this was coming and I so glad you made this decision. I’m in a standard right now for health.
Really need to look at the chic sparrow standard (called narrow). It’s got four elastics and you can get one with pockets and a pen loop. Or you can get their new one coming that has a snap closure and allows your stalogy notebook to tuck in and then has elastics for your inserts.
I will definitely have a look at them. Sounds like I will like x

25:04 LaurenPhelpsDesigns sells pencil boards for the standard. But you can also cut the A5 one from Hobonichi down. Super easy to do and since there’s lines on it easy to make ie straight. It’s pretty inexpensive too.

I’ve decided I’m going to live with the fact that it’s going to get scratched. Plus if it gets too scratched, it gives me an excuse to buy a new one. Lol
