How To Change the Air Filter on a Kawasaki KLR650

Good video, I had two tusk KLR650 air filters come apart, the first I was told due to me using gas for cleaning, the second Tusk KLR filter I used only Maxima Filter cleaner, and oil and it literally came apart at the seams in the air box. I went back to stock KLR filters and UniFilters. There is a video of the Tusk KLR filter coming apart on YT

Uni are the best I find. Tusk are Chinese knock off stuff it is hit or miss.

What kind of cleaning oil did you use? Type of grease lubricant. What type of air filters? I couldn’t understand what you said and there’s no links? Thanks! Great demo!

We used Maxima Air Filter Cleaner, Maxima Grease, and Tusk First Line Air Filter. The first link in the description will take you to a page with the parts and tools used in this video.
