@@stefi_2774 I don't know, it definitely takes less effort than Notion. I think OneNote has a great organization system itself (the notebooks, sections and pages). It's very easy to use. Notion is good for if you are a type of person that loves tracking things, if it is outside of tracking things. You need to figure what app to use that isn't notion and why you use it. I personally use notion for tracking, but I use onenote for note taking because I am a university student. You have 15 weeks per semester. I need convenience for note taking then the modern way of pencil and paper to write notes. There's so much going on, and so little of time.
the thing with notion is once you are set , everything is easy for you.Later on , you won't even rely on it , because you program your brain by using notion for your daily to-dos.
I feel like what you said was pretty broad, like, for note taking and the like I’d 100% agree that it’s not made for this at all. But for things like getting organized, creating to-do lists, setting up goals and deadlines, basically using it like your planner, in my opinion, it’s amazing. I’ve seen a lot of successful people who organize their studies all through notion
"Using Notion in a minimalist way is key to achieving happy productivity. It’s all about focusing on what truly matters without getting overwhelmed by the tool itself. Productivity shouldn't be about obsessing over organizing tasks-it’s about simplifying your workflow to stay efficient and stress-free. Less is more!"
I’m not agree, Notion is incredible for studying in the way you can create links between different courses with relations and roll-ups for example. Moreover, you can categorize, store information in an intelligent way with databases and link with different platforms to visualize your data’s differently. It’s very intuitive and seems to work well with the human brain with the way it works. I would say, it’s better than Word, PowerPoint or Excel.
Notion, along with most “influencer” productivity apps, is overrated. First, establish a system that works for you personally, or your team, then choose the app (emphasis on THE-don’t go down a rabbit hole using multiple apps)
If you're already bad at organizing and planning, Notion won't help you and will be too overwhelming. Notion's tools are only useful if you can create a functional, easy to use system and you have the discipline to stick to it.

Not if you know how, when and what to use it for. You wont say a saw is overrated in cutting wood just because you don’t know how to use it properly.
I just simplify my life with G-Cal for scheduling. I put a link inside the description to my Asana and that’s it. Work (personal projects + professional), law school, and I guess my entire life is in Asana. Am I the only one? 😅
Im using it for notes as i could simply not write by hand any longer, considering I am doing online study.
I just set up my study notes in a very nice, simple, and organised way, and I am loving it.
No Ali Abdaal was destroyed 😂😂
You got logic
actually no... Ali uses notion not for studying as his primary tool...
Yeah it's overrated. MS Word is more effective in creating study guides. Hahaha
I always thought of it as a project management software
I think its good. Yall just cry because u dont know how to use it-
Plus obviously u arent going to study on it
Im currently using notion, and I regret not knowing notion before. It's really good for organizing, notes, database etc. It increased my productivity.
the thing with notion is once you are set , everything is easy for you.Later on , you won't even rely on it , because you program your brain by using notion for your daily to-dos.
So uh, what’s good for studying then??
I feel like what you said was pretty broad, like, for note taking and the like I’d 100% agree that it’s not made for this at all. But for things like getting organized, creating to-do lists, setting up goals and deadlines, basically using it like your planner, in my opinion, it’s amazing. I’ve seen a lot of successful people who organize their studies all through notion
Yeah, be quiet. You roasted nobody 😂
Is a tool to keep organized and facilitate your studies, it is not a way to study
The fuck is bro yapping for😂
Bro who said notion was a learning tool, its for managing your study notes lmao
Agreed 👍
Notion, along with most “influencer” productivity apps, is overrated. First, establish a system that works for you personally, or your team, then choose the app (emphasis on THE-don’t go down a rabbit hole using multiple apps)
If you're already bad at organizing and planning, Notion won't help you and will be too overwhelming. Notion's tools are only useful if you can create a functional, easy to use system and you have the discipline to stick to it.
im stydy web development notion databse helpme to get database + cms like backend, its its so usefull
bro come on i love notion. at first i did not understand how to use it but now i effortlessly make databases and other stuff. its a hobby or me atp since im an organization freak
I use Notion to make a repository for resources for learning and to track workout
I use it for my whole fking life since school puts my events IN 3 FUCKING DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT CACLANDERS
What an absurd statement
Yep, roasted my dream experiment 😂 But let’s see if I can build the all in one life/knowledge/skill management system within Notion …. It’s been 2 years of trial and error…. Maybe I will never reach there. But I will enjoy my experiments
Try ultimate brain for notion by Thomas Frank
Well dont forget its a tool. If you expect a tool to think for you it's on you
who is this clown? I been using notion for my studies and it have been effective all along
It is designed to study , but the person designing it. What's it to be perfect or nice looking that's way it is overrated.
Ya 😅
Notion is my best friend when I comes to studying I 1000% disagree
What could i use instead of Notion then please ?
I agree Notion is a great tool but I'd have to say it's best used for project management and completing task.
I feel like obsidan does a better job when it comes to note taking and studying topics.
Don’t be forced to switch to another app, trust me only use apps that is comfortable for you.
I just love how Notion is bringing new rich features in. Just started using as a complete beginner in early 2024. Steep learning curve but I'm loving it more each day. Mainly using it to study Data Science and Deep Learning courses. Enjoying every second spent on scripting Maths equation with LaTex code block, jotting my Python + Bash scripts and even drawing mind maps with Mermaid. Tools available are way unreal
a guy i watch ‘fromsergio’ said it perfectly. i work in notion & i think in obsidian. i can’t agree more with that. i recently switched my two business plus my personal stuff from clickup & todoist to notion, and it works incredibly well. however i do not have any journals or notes other than to jot down a sentence or two. i’d rather use obsidian to take extensive notes/journals
This content is a beacon of sophisticated and thoughtful analysis. Reading a book with akin themes significantly enriched my understanding. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers
Would you ever create a better infinite canvas app?
The actually worse thing about it is it’s potential to legitimate procrastination… „To really organize my study I have to build the perfect notion page and then I can start studying“
Sure it's a calming notion, perpetual in motion
But I don't need the comfort of any lies
For I have seen the ending and there is no ascending
Rise
Oh, back when I was younger, was told by other youngsters
That my end will be torture beneath the earth
'Cause I don't see what they see, when death is staring at me
I see a window, a limit, to live it, or not at all
If you could pull the lever to carry on forever
Would your life even matter anymore?
Sure it's a calming notion, perpetual in motion
But it's not what you signed up for
I'm sure there won't always be sunshine
But there's this momentary beam of light
You don't have to wait those salty decades
To get through the gate, it's all in front of your face
I'm sure there won't always be sunshine
I'm sure there won't always be sunshine
But there's this momentary beam of light
I could cross the ocean in a fit of devotion
For every shining second, this fragile body beckons
You think you're owed it better believing ancient letters
I use Notion to work. We recently switched to Notion, which has made it easier to organize and optimize our system. Notion is great, but it's a bit of a hassle that every single worker has to be a member and not a guest to use the calendar and other functions.
Don't blame the tool if most people don't use it efficiently
you should review brilliant next
Brilliant is worked for me, it depends on people's logical thinking
I use it for making flashcards after making mind maps
Yes i agree notion is a bit overwhelming but if we just use it for regular usage like tracking stuffs and all this is a clesn application though (other application works to)
I like Notion for study because of the way that it helps me track subjects and projects, its a good tool overall if you know how to adapt it to yourself.
The whole point of using Notion is to use its Database feature and then represent the same data in different views. All the other features can be done in a word document
I use Notion for study and so far its been working. Im curious what other apps would you recommend then? Maybe there some better that I didny know yet.
I've applied an old egyption learning system on Notion, and I'm planning to explain it on TH-cam, then you'll know that Notion is for studying
I agree with everyone here saying it depends on how you use notion! In college I def used notion and now that I use it for work, I understand why I struggled with notion in school.
If ur gonna talk shit, at least give an alternative
💯
Oh thank god i he was talking about the song if yall dont like that song thats fine but your dead to me
This is about atheism. At least, only maybe.
I do a lot of self study on a variety of different topics, so after I take my initial hand written notes on my iPad,
I type everything in an organized way in my notion “notebook” I have set up. I love how organized I can have all of these various different topics and how accessible it is! I basically use it as one Master Journal™️
Do people use Notion commonly in university?
Hahah little knowledge is dangerous 😂😆
I disagree because I to it while studying.
I use Miro to make notes and embed them into notion. Notion I use for planning and keeping track of assignments.

Sure it's a calming notion, but it's a lie...
Illusions of learning with relationships? Yeah bro thinking about it too profoundly lol
i think you took Notion Personally
Not true I use it for studying and it works
Of course it's a calming notion
Me using Google calendar in the other hand
notion is best app for flashcards xdd to me all your study advices are opposite of what i think
I love Notion, have been using it for almost 2 years. But I don't see how one would use it to study. I use it to track my studies and organize my notes, but I don't use it for actual studying.
If its overrated, why not suggest the app that is outstanding
For study, he says you can use any infinite blank canvas app, which allows you to draw a mind map. He specifically uses Concepts.
