Not as much as you might think. Here in the US, serving sizes are laid out by the government. For most crunchy snacks (e.g., chips, crackers, or popcorn) the serving size should be about 30g, or as close as you can get without resorting to ridiculous measurements like “30g = 1.7 cookies”. For popcorn that means one serving is 30g of whatever’s in the package, be that unpopped pcorn in a microwaveable bag (including its share of the cooking oil) or popped corn that’s ready to eat. Sometimes that does have unfortunate consequences, like a large chain-store cookie (e.g., Crumbl) is actually 4 servings, and you kinda have to read the fine print to know that. Still, servings are standard enough to allow for comparability between similar snacks: how does 30g of Oreos measure up against 30g of Cheez-Its?
Nice videos ma'am, but I'm surprised how are you a food scientist but you said on your bio that you have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, can a Chemical engineer be a food scientist and vice versa?
The world is made of people who don't listen and people who just have to keep repeating themselves.
omg original content from Food Science Babe! i like this! :)
make the serving less than 8 pieces of air popped popcorns since serving is an indeterminate term

Here you go client *fixes them a handful of kernels or less*
Hi can you please tell me how to become a food scientist ?
Find if the college or university by you offers programs in food science, food engineering, food technology, or similar fields
Study food science
@@itsgonnabeanaurfromme no shit ass hole.
This is 100% facts 😂
Reduce the serving size to 1 kernel and blow their mind😊
Solution: just make each serving 5g 😂
