Thank you! I'm 37 and going back to finish my Bachelor's in Food Science and transitioning out of a sales role. You're never too old! Don't let that stop you.
I love seeing someone who looks like me in the same industry. I have been actively working as a Food Scientist/Product Developer for over 5 years and I have never met another black woman who does what I do. I always knew there were more of us out there and I am so happy to finally see it! Thank you for telling your story and inspiring more young woman of color ❤️.
Just found your Channel and instantly subscribed☺️ I'm a first Year nutrition science Student from Germany and there aren't many Food-Scientists online that I can look up to. So.. thank you:)
I finished my first year of food science and technology in Spain on June and I wish I had found your channel earlier because unfortunately ,our career isn’t that recognized here☹️. Thank you! I had no idea if I should study at my city's uni in the UK which is ranked 4th in the whole of UK for food science. Now I realise this might be something I'd enjoy. I really want to go to the USA and get a job for it, but I am just unsure how to.
I'm also gonna study food technologist and many people are not happy about it they say where will I work even my mom too.they not pleased with my decision 😭
hi, im in my last semester of BS and finally feel like i want to study food science for MS. im a chemistry major right now and i was wondering if i can get accepted to food sci courses. i do know that some unis take in students from chemistry backgrounds but some only have mentioned "food and related degrees". so is it at all possible to get in unless they have clearly mentioned that they're not accepting other than food sci majors
Hi Ang, it is totally possible to study food science for your MS degree. A Chemistry background is actually really good for entering the field. You should inquire about what those Universities consider their “related degrees” to be. I can guarantee Chemistry will be one of them.
Can u please help me .....i want to go in this career I've just completed my schooling .....is it worth it i mean both financially and for our personal productivity???
