  • The second video in the “Introduction to STAAD Advanced Concrete Design” series illustrates how easily you can design a slab using STAAD Advanced Concrete Design. Advanced features accelerate your slab design, including: Detailing Styles, Detailing Options, Lowering and Raising of slab, Multiple Loading, and Staircase Section Detail. Comprehensive drawings and reports are automatically generated, including: design calculations, bar bending schedule, bill of quantities, and more.

Sorry...I was trying to design a curved slab but it actually fails all the time...I cant select if it's a curved slab because there is no option for that in the rcdc...I cant put a finger whether it's a one way, a two way or a cantilever because all these options does actually fit...also the conditions like one side discontinuous, two adjacent side discontinuous or any of those conditions does not actually fit in...please help me out

Does dead load as self weight is not taken by software ...that is why we give imposed load ?

Is there any other software which supports both staad and etabs file ???

Why should we provide Imposed load and Live load differently? IS code says Imposed and live loads are same. Plz explain this.

In STAAD Advanced Concrete Design, Imposed load means the Dead Load on slab which excludes Self weight of slab and Live load is the actual Live Load on slab.
