I've never been a guy that deals with or wanted to be around kids. But seeing Casey interact with that precious little girl of his, puts a big smile on my face! NICE!
This is why I like your channel. You never know what excitement Casey is going to get into. Sure the rescues and recoveries are interesting, but this one was enjoyable also. Riley was having fun also.
Yes, but ya gotta compost it unless it's real old, bc horse poop creates heat, & if you put stuff on your veggies that is too fresh, it'll burn them & kill them...
OMG Riley is SOooo CUTE! and such a good helper too. I'm sorry if I misspelled her name that is all I can get off the closed captions. My first thought when you mentioned this project was that looks like the perfect spot for a garden. Sandy soil, plus loads of horse poop = Garden! Oh and my deepest condolences for your loss of bacon eatability. That is truly sad. Give Riley a hug for me please.
You need two things, fill and topsoil. Your 3 loads of topsoil need to come last, the fill (sand, junk dirt, etc) needs to come first and use it to level the area. Then put a 4-6 inch layer of the topsoil. Your going to need 30+ yards of fill and probably 3-4 more loads of topsoil.
It's going to take a lot of dirt but in time it'll be filled in I'm sure nice seeing your little girl I'm sure she's doing well with daddy's help. She has grown up quite a bit since I started watching your channel
From a distance when you pointed out that you needed to fill the hole. It didn’t look like a Big hole till you brought your first load. It’s a BIG hole!your new trailer was a good buy. Good luck in your New Business Jeremy . Nice Video Casey. Riley is growing up fast. 🤙😎
Cool. Way to go Casey. Another collaboration with some of your awesome friends. Jeremy and JDP Land Development have a great attitude and do really nice looking work. Looking forward to seeing some adventures of JDP in the future. Peace Out.
Really looks like good dirt. Those guys were doing an excellent job. Kind of what we need to do with our house. Sellers didn't disclose that when it rains hard for an amount of time water runs into our garage 😢 Riley did a great job at the controls, daddy and mom did great on the camera, great team work! Stay safe and GOD bless
My parents had the same sorta issue, but when it rained a lot they had a 1 foot geyser in their basement. Previous owners would not let them go into the cellar when they looked at the house. They at least had and left 2 sup-pumps to drain the water out of the basement. Ruined one set of washer and dryer even though there was a 4" cement platform for the to be placed on. - definitely a buyers be ware issue.
Home projects... sometimes take a long time to complete!! But you have the right idea. If time isn't a problem then fill in that hole whenever you can get free dirt. After all, it's the best kind!! 😁 I think you may have a helper in the making. Riley seemed to like pushing the button and watching the trailer go up and down. LOL!!
Casey it is great that you have such a wide variety of friends who have variety of skills. They all come in handy. Riley looks like a natural handling dump duties. Landscaping is a skill. I haven't had the need to do any of that over the last 19+ years. But hoping within the next 6 months to rid myself of this Town house. HOA's sux. Just like some Church Committees.
I was wondering if your big truck got delayed by the parts shortage - sadly you confirmed that it indeed has been. The bright note was seeing how Riley perked up when you allowed her to operate the lift on the trailer (and of course, Carina's comments in the background only made it even better)
I hope you take vitamins. They have helped me so much. I have the same condition as you. Only my journey has been with me for 47 years. I really appreciate you talking about it. Thank you
When I made an off on the second house I bought, it had a nice kitchen, sliding patio doors, and a pool half of which was below ground level. There was delay after delay, and six months later we were told there was a problem with the sale. The owners had defaulted on their mortgage and been evicted, which apparently pissed them off because when we viewed the property the kitchen had been ripped out, there was a big hole in the wall where the sliding doors used to be, and there was a giant hole in the garden. My dad farmed five miles away, and he trailered dirt from the farm to fill the hole up. Bless his heart. 😊 It took a couple of loads as I remember, with the trail on its bump stops and the tires bulging.
JEREMY GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MY BUSINESS!!! 👍 CASEY, That is a TEASE to your wife, you didn't even fill half her hole 😉😁. Projects like that always needs more than your realize. ENJOYED THE VIDEO! BE SAFE! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! 👍
Some time back we had to level up the long jump area in the sports field of our local school. We needed waaay more loads of sand than the community had estimated...
If you ever want to put a pond in I have build several here in Texas. Dig your pond to the depth you want and line it with six mil plastic from Home Depot. Under water the plastic will never deteriorate, I have built 2 half acre ponds and still holding water good although they are topped off with a well.
I know where you are coming from 2 years I did a fill project with no excavation experience I figured two tri axle loads and I ended up with 12. I feel for you but I know you will win.
BACON !!!!! ok got that out of the way! Casey, you need to start a competition with guessing how many loads it's going to take to fill the Wives hole ! Closest gets a t-shirt!
Hi Casey, I bought a dump trailer a couple years ago and a friend of mine installed a wireless remote for a winch on it and its really handy being able to raise and lower from in the truck, I’m sure you could do the same with yours if you were interested
With such a big hole to fill have you thought about bearing the debris piles you have? If it not toxic trash it might do you good to use it to fill that up then put a 2-3' cover. Might be a good solution for 2 problems.
"They" say more snow is coming this weekend. "Some" say maybe snow down to the valley floor. Who knows?? We did have snow on the valley floor last April. After all, it is still Winter. Great video!! I enjoy them all.
If you need plenty of dirt, swimming pool builders are a good source, they tend to want to get rid of it quick, so you can buy for just transport cost. I got 120m3 from mine for an utter pittance because he lives virtually next door anyway.
In the area where Casey lives, we have very few in ground pools, unless it's a hotel or a school. The ground around here is full of Volcanic Lava, Lava Rocks and Red Cinder, which is ground lava, which is mostly used by Oregon DOT for sanding our highways during the winter...
I recommend you install some chains to hold your dump doors open, if and when the spring mechanisms wear out or fail while you're pulling forward the door will plant in the ground, destroy the hinges and bend the sidwall
A cubic yard of loose, dry topsoil weighs around 2,100 lb (950 kg) depending on its composition. If it's wet, it can be as much as 3,000 lb (1,400 kg). A yard of topsoil usually costs between $10 and $50 and can cover a 100 square foot (9.3 square meters) area 3 in (7.6 cm) deep.
The first scratch reminds me of setting up Mobil homes back in the 80s. Rain or snow.... we had to work. Wet, muddy....my theory, even though rainwear required, put on the "gear", fall down in mud puddle, that way you don't have to worry about staying clean and dry!!
I cut concrete for many years cutting poured walls and block walls with water I would You would get wet feet very often I used to tell people get up in the morning get ready to go to work dip your feet in the toilet you're good to go
Dig the dirt out of the hole, drag it forward to make the pond smaller. Then get a pond liner and lay it in the now smaller hole for a nice pond as planned.
Bought myself a dump trailer about a year ago and it doesn't take long to find out how many family, friends and neighbors you got.............everybody wants to borrow it.
Just a thought... If you contact local stables, it's likely they will give you their manure for free. You could fill in that hole, let the manure compost for 1-2 years; then turn it into a lush garden, or even plant fruit or nut trees.
If you have a shepherd steering box on your truck, there is a HUGE recall out for those. I don't remember off hand what year, but it's multiple makes over several years. Might have something to do with it.
Riley using the dump remote😊 Carina has a great sense of humor 😂 Nice video!👍😎 Keep up the great work and stay safe out there!❤️🙏
Great to see Reily the little heavy equipment operator in action!
Being comfortable is far more important than being productive! New shirt idea!!
The excitement of your daughter when you asked her if she wanted to bring it back down ❤️❤️❤️ so cute 🌹
Yes, indeed!
Possible future tow operator
Daddy little helper awww that so cute. They grow up so fast.
Reilly loves to help. You should teach that girl to film. Can't wait for the Reilly Cam.
Everybody text Jeremy at 541-633-8205 and tell him good luck with his new business!
Jeremy is a very talented operator.
Good Luck Jeremy. Don’t know you from Adam but support any guy or gal the very best in creating a successful business.
Great work
Good Luck with your new job!
with all this hole filling you might get demonetized
It's cool to see you get the kids involved
I've never been a guy that deals with or wanted to be around kids. But seeing Casey interact with that precious little girl of his, puts a big smile on my face! NICE!
Thank you Casey. I really like that dump trailer😊
nice job, Riley!
10:46 to 10:52 "Being comfortable is far more important than being productive." Having your little girl running your dumper is even better!
Casey mix the horse poop and the new dirt and you will have some nice fertil dirt for grass
Comfort while creating content is tops.
Now you only need another 30 dump trailer size loads to level that hole in your yard. Great start👍
Yes, this is a good start!
Too cute Riley is a sweetheart
Three loads down, only 97 more to go. It’ll be worth it when finished. I enjoy your channel and your honest approach to life.
I agree on the number of loads to go.
They do have good food there. The breakfast sandwiches are also extremely good.
This is why I like your channel. You never know what excitement Casey is going to get into. Sure the rescues and recoveries are interesting, but this one was enjoyable also. Riley was having fun also.
Great 👌 job Rye
Good fertilizer!!
New sub here. This one made me smile. Greets from Australia.
Oh, and good luck with your business Jeremy👍
Casey, You should plant a garden with all that horse manure . Vegetables would grow great. God Bless
Yes, but ya gotta compost it unless it's real old, bc horse poop creates heat, & if you put stuff on your veggies that is too fresh, it'll burn them & kill them...
the trailer you bought came from the western part of the county here in texas that I live in. good trailers

Hi LaDelle family! Stay well!
Time to get yourself a skid loader to move the dirt around Casey! Good video
Nice project you have going on. It was fun to see how happy your kid was getting to run the dump trailer.
Hilarious video, Casey. Your Mrs. played right along as well as Jamie.
Good luck Jeremy

Hey Jeremy, go forth and prosper! Your daughter is so fortunate to have you for a dad to teach her the good stuff.
Nice trailer!!
lol! Your wife's sense of humor is awesome! :D
Good morning to Riley and Carina too ☀
I recon you would need at least 100 more loads minimum, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Have a good day. God bless you all the time.
yay Riley,,,
what a cool little helper !!!
I love the comment your wife said! 😂😂😂 She’s awesome, so is your daughter too! 🎉
You gave Riley control and now she has the POWER!!!

A pond there would be nice even if it was a smaller one. Less dirt to fill it in. Nice to see your little helper.

Thank goodness you had and expert dump trailer operator waiting for you at your house to get that dirt unloaded. 😂
To be fair, the previous owners sold it to a couple that makes questionable decisions and are interesting characters… of course in the best way.
I was wondering if your big truck got delayed by the parts shortage - sadly you confirmed that it indeed has been. The bright note was seeing how Riley perked up when you allowed her to operate the lift on the trailer (and of course, Carina's comments in the background only made it even better)

I didn't have cool toys like that when I was a kid. Your daughter is lucky!
Great video. May the Al Gore Rhythm bless you with boundless riches.
That's right Casey train them young and she's a little cutie pie
That area would make a nice garden with all that composted horse manure to fertilize it, although more work than just mowing it.

BACON!! That burger looked fantastic. Even if it's not a recovery video, I like your videos. Keep on a sharin' please. 🐾🐾🍻
Bet you are glad you got the bigger trailer!
Gonna look nice when ever it gets done.
I guess I need to get a dump trailer for my grandkids.
If you used rubber sheeting to line a reduced pond pit , it would hold water and give you that nice water feature
Awesome. Just got finished watching your video on the car flying off. The old red one that you did a year ago
So darn cute you’re assistant I used to let veh owners kids lower the car off rollback
JEREMY GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MY BUSINESS!!! 👍

It never fails to amaze me of how much dirt can go into a hole. I run 400 ton haul trucks. Always need more.
