My 18yr old daughter is distant from us with a world is against her attitude, but she is a worker outside the home.Starting at 14 and now on her 4th job. That's 2 more jobs than I have ever had in 40 years,LOL!!
I taught a young man (12 years) all the way to black belt in Tae Kwon Do. We worked together and turned that prosthetic leg into a whirling club! He didn't get bullied after that!
This situation in this first story really frosts my cookies when an able-bodied person tries to claim a spot from a legitimately disabled person with a badge for their car And it is highly inexcusable for this person to yank off somebody’s prosthetic limb. It is a medical device not quackery.
Last story, nothing wrong with making a kid pay for things with their own fun money. It's an important life skill and nothing teaches you the value of money than comparing prices to what you make in an hr.
You're paying for too much of your daughter's expenses. She should be paying for her own gasoline, and at least a portion of the automobile insurance. Also for what her phone costs, and her own share of the phone plan.
1st story: "I claimed this spot" Is she mental? 2nd story: Good revenge 3rd story: Scooter lady intentionally tried to hurt mustard lady for no reason 4th story: If she didn't want anchovies, why didn't she just say "no anchovies." why make up the allergy bs? Just to be a pain in everyone's ass 5th story: "Because we're family" is the worst reason to do anything. No one can scam you like family, or be as entitled like family 6th story: Rich kids think they're entitled to everything and don't have to work for it Tough lave is necessary, make her work for her money
I had two reconstructive surgeries on my right knee. I can walk but have some balance issues. My surgeon has no problems letting me get handicapped hanger. I am not obviously disabled. I have every now & again I have gotten Karen’s & Kyle’s getting upset when I use a handicapped space. I had taken photos on my IPhone. One is of my leg with an ankle to thigh cast. The next shows the 5+ inch scar. I use the phone from late fall to spring to show the photos. In the summer I just pull up the shorts to reveal the scar. The complainers sometimes mutter that it’s my fault for not looking disabled enough. A few get red faced & do a 180 degree turn & say nothing as they scuttled away.
As to the fourth story the friends of the idiot laughing at her beung called out is priceless. As to the fourth story they most likely came home early because they wore out their welcome.
I honestly thought until today. That Caesar dressing is made with capers, not anchovies. Yes, I have watched other people make Caesar dressing from scratch. Never saw any anchovies only capers
Maybe find her a job that would be something that would be within her interests? Sales counter in a store that specializes in beauty products, as an example
That restaurant Karen reminded me of the last time I ate at buffalo wild wings with a group of friends there wasn't a Karen involved but the staff took way too long I waited 2 hours for some chicken I almost got it earlier but the waiter dropped it I still paid and the chicken was good I'm just not going to dine in again
That one about the daughter who won't work sounds like my brother - he also asks for cigarettes and when he was working apparently ONLY HIS SCHEDLE WAS IMPORANT [NOT MINE , OUR MOTHER WHO IS THE ONLY ONE who can actually work between between her and mys3lf ] nor that of my cat who is doabetic nor min3 and our mothers appointments + cat vet appointments
I feel bad for the last OP, it's got to be a tough balancing act, having money, but trying to avoid spoiling their kids while also not having them resent them for not spoiling them. I thought to myself if I ever became wealthy and ever had kids I'd try to setup something so they'd learn the value of a dollar. I thought of something where maybe you could give them an allowance tied to how many hours they worked at their job, kind of like bonus pay to make the minimum wage job a bit more appealing? Not sure how well it would work in reality though, as depending on how much the bonus pay is it might just make them work less hours if they don't need it. If you're say doubling their paycheck they might only work half the hours if they only need so much, or they might go the other way and work tons of hours to milk the deal for all its worth, though at least the later would get them used to working.
If you are going to give her an allowance the give her chores to do to earn that allowance and when it’s gone for the week she gets no more till the next pay day. If she gets a weekend job make sure she knows that money is hers to spend for the extras like nails, hair, expensive new items. She wants a new phone…pay for it. She wants those $300 heels pay for it. Buy gas for the car even if it’s a family car. Does she get food, clothing, warm place to live, warm water to bathe in, clothes to wear? Do you take care of her personal hygiene products, the doctor, the dentist then You are not making her live poor, just responsibly.
The last story is pathetic. You pay for everything! You pay for the car and insurance? Is the car over 10 years old and carry only liability? Daughter needs to work and at least pay insurance. I quit college and my mom kicked me out. Sink or swim and I am still here!
Yep, I’m gonna make a point here something for all you people in wheelchairs and with prosthetics, and all the able people who think they are cops. My wife had a brain tumor, which left her disabled what’s worse is that brain tumor led to organ failure, so she’s had to have a transplant as well, she may not look disabled, but she is. She can’t walk more than 50 feet without being exhausted… due to the damage from the brain tumor. She also has a poor balance. Then after the transplant, the large of amounts steroids they used to prevent rejection caused her vision severely impaired …. I’ve had people get rude with us,claiming she’s not disabled… I think a neurosurgeon, transplant surgeon, endocrinologist, And four other specialist physicians are a lot more qualified than some in a parking lot to make that determination.

I wear a artificial Leg if somebody did that to me i would mad as hell

I would have insisted on having her fined for parking in a disabled park bay, and had her for assault.
Op in the last story is teaching her daughter to be responsible and have a good work ethic.

And when he was working he complain3d about pay8ng rent - he'd also be eating food at mine and mas house he never helped pay for

IF YOU WANT THAT, GET A JOB, EARN MONEY AND PAY FOR IT! You might be proud of yourself for earning it.
📖👓📚📙🧙🏻♂
IN the last story, you already messed up by paying for car, insurance, phone, etc. If she wants these things, she can dang well work for them.
Those come with being a parent to a minor, which she still is.

She's still a minor, so insurance is on the parents
