Working through The Corvette Channel I purchased this spoiler for my C7 from the Extreme Online Store. The spoiler quality is excellent and so was the packaging. Using this EXCELLENT video I did this installation with the help of a great friend (I might add that I am 77 years old and out of shape). Not a single step was overlooked in this video and it made the installation a whole lot less stressful.
Hey guys this is James from Norco California watch your TH-cam video installed my new wing and it works perfectly step by step you guys did a great job thank you so much for all your help and my 2019 looks great
There’s a plastic retainer rivet under the lower part of the bumper. There’s one in each side that needs to be removed after you remove the 3 bolts under the bumper (behind the rear wheels).
Great video. If this rear spoiler fits all C7 Corvettes, will it extend beyond the sides of a C7 base Stingray and Stingray Z51. Just concerned with the GS and the Z06 Corvettes are wider, if I were to install this on my Z51 that it may extend beyond the width of the car a bit. Thanks for your time and information.
Yes it does extend just a little past the top of the truck of the car but it does not stick out farther than the body of the car. I love how it looks on my car and mine is a Z51. Hope that helps, Scott
Hi James. The reason I changed to Spoilers was because my original one was a converted Z51 Spoiler which looked great, but I wanted to move to a Stage 3 Spoiler. eventually I will be installing a ZR-1 Wing.
Currently on the fence between doing a conversion in a z51 spoiler vs stage 3 install vs zr1 wing. I definitely love the ZR1 wing but I’m definitely not a handy man so unsure I can do it myself. Please share your thoughts. Any advice would be appreciated!
What ever Spoiler or Wing you put on your car you will have to remove the bumper. If you put on the ZR-1 Wing you will also have to cut the top of the bumper so that is part is not for the weak of heart. If you decide to do the Wing I would recommend taking it to a shop.
Besides the stage 3 spoiler, I'm also I installing the diffusers. When the bumper is off, would it make getting to the difusser screws easier or does it matter? I watched your diffuser install video as well.
Yes it will make it easier. But I would keep the top part of the bumper on the car to do the Diffusers. If not you will have to remove all the wiring. To get the bumper completely off. If you did remove all the wiring it would be a total cake walk. As you saw in the video the hard part is the driver side because of almost no room. You should send me a before and after or even a little video showing your work we can post it on the channel. Thanks for watching!!
Great install .... new subscriber to your channel ... I’m about 5 years away from owning a C7 Stingray and saving this video as well as many others. I’m hoping a clean C7 Stingray 2LT with a 7 Speed Manual will go for about $25k in 5-6 years! I see now they’re around $40k .. what do you think ?
Hi Stephen.. thank you for subscribing. I have a feeling you will not have to wait for them to come down that far. If you look you can find them for about $29k. Dont let the miles scare you my car in the video is a 2014 C7 3LT and it has 111k miles on it and it is still going strong. Thanks for watching and good luck!!
THE CORVETTE CHANNEL awesome 👏 Thanks on the buying tip ! To reiterate, I’m not ready now financially but will be in about 5 years when I’m close to retirement. I currently own a 2013 Lexus ES350 which has 4 1/2 years remaining on my loan. When it’s paid off I’ll start looking for my C7 stingray... so excited, I’ve never owned a Corvette. About a year ago i was looking at C6’s but now realize the C7 is the way to go! Interior fit & finish seems to be drastically improved from the C6 and that means a lot to me.
@@THECORVETTECHANNEL turns out I came across a pristine 1999 C5 FRC with only 18k miles and couldn’t resist. Pulled the trigger and had it shipped from FL to NY in an enclosed car transport. After 5 years of bouncing back and forth between C5, C6 and C7. Prices have inflated up so far, my 1999 FRC fit into my budget perfectly. Car is amazing. Garage kept. 100% stock except for smoked windows
Hey Scott, thank you for your videos!!! Can you please give a honest opinion about the carbon fiber quality on this spoiler from Extreme Online Store please, thank you.
First of all Thank you!! Thank you for watching and Subscribing!! But to your question... I'm not just saying this ....I Love my Spoiler it is good and solid and really looks great close up!! I highly recommend it!!
@@jeryart Hi Jerry I got an email that said you posted a reply but for some reason I dont see it. If it has blemishes you should contact them and ask for an Exchange. I am sure they will take care of you.
@@THECORVETTECHANNEL hey Scott thank you so much. Actually it's funny the passenger side wicker looks great, very good quality. But the driver side wicker was very poorly made and it does NOT fit. Anyways I sent them an email I hope they don't give me a hard time. Thank you.
@@jameswalker129 Hi James it all depends on if you already have a spoiler or need the bumper drilled also. Give me a call at 19164127268 and we can talk, Scott

Awesome !! Thanks for Watching!!!
Is there enough clearance to put one of these on a convertible model?
Yes they fit no problem!
installed a ZR1 spoiler on my c6, was pretty easy just taking out the tail lights and some drilling.
Great video just what I needed to see a simple install and some focus on the center wickerbill

Good vid, good sound. Nice and clear, stereo. Try the Milwaukee 12v compact tools instead of the ryobi u will appreciate it.
Great video and tutorial. Installed my stage 3 spoiler today with your video assistance. Thanks for the help. Happy New Year!
Great video excellent installation.
Does it fit base C7 or just Z51?
It fits both the Base and the Z51 cars are the same body. Good Luck!
@THECORVETTECHANNEL thanks, I have been very confused about that.
more complicated than I thought... any price range for the installation?

@@THECORVETTECHANNEL, thanks Scott - Much appreciated.
comparing this spoiler with the 5-1 for the c7 stingray z51 is there any difference in the height of the 2. the stage 3 looks taller than the 5-1.
I wish you have a Corvettte shop in Seattle
Any reason you decided to change from your ACS winglets? I liked how it didn't overhang the sides of the bumper better.
