Just a helpful tip, Uncle, the rubber plug in the rear rotors is so you can adjust the e brake star without taking it on and off all the time. Great video tho!

Great job. I don't know what parts in the plate to grease. Now I do.

I gotta get to this eventually, but I think I’ll continue taking baby steps for now since I just started DIYing repairs on my truck 😂

Good info. My 2017 looks about the same. Park brake won't hold at the boat ramp. 14,000 miles. Good job Nissan.

Much easier if you attach the shoe retainer springs first and then stretch/hook the long springs with needle nose vice grips

I would always recommend using the new hardware that comes with the pads assuming you are using high quality parts (I always use Akbono if available). The reason new hardware doesn't go on is because of corrosion of the caliper bracket and accumulation of brake dust. That needs to be cleaned off well then it will fit. If you don't clean it off then the pads might not move freely. I have also gotten into the habit of replacing the slides every time. Extra 20 bucks well spent

Are the parking brake pads only on one side or both? Can I first try adjusting the star without replacing?

Got to do both sides, you could do the adjusting star, if you got brake material left.
