I don't go there any more. I bought one bag of shelled sunflower seeds from Aldi's - my favorite snack. They tasted horrible - like they had gone stale. The "best by" date hadn't expired yet, far from it. They just tasted awful. I'll stick to name brands at a normal supermarket. They usually don't have quality issues, and I know what I'm getting.

Aldi I recently noticed baked goods with “Bioengineered ingredients” in their bagels, English muffins, hotdog and Hamburg rolls, breads, crackers. Not eating something I don’t know what it is. Read labels carefully all!
Every roll of bread that is not baked fresh or in a freezer contains bioengineerered ingredients along with a slew of preservatives. The 1.09 whole wheat bread is perfectly OK, especially if you eat less than 4 slices a week
Sorry, I’m not a fan of ALDIs bakery items. Garlic knots, no. Raisin bread, no. Cherry pie, no. That’s it after these items, that were disgusting, I try no bakery items. I’m a home baker with real ingredients, my family isn’t used to whatever ingredients they use. However, we love and highly recommend the Seedtastic bread. Their Keto bread is ok, and their sourdough is good, but ever 3 rd loaf has more holes then bread and for $4.99, your taking a chance.
@@TerryKitts that’s THEIR opinion. Aldi bagels are not as good as New York bagels but when you live 1500 miles from NY they are pretty good, and better than other bagels in a plastic tube.
So... where is the review for the Sour Creme Donuts, shown on the video thumbnail ? Bait and switch thumbnails from Mashed ? Why am I not surprised ? Seems like Mashed is becoming unreliable, like many other TH-cam channels. Mashed is now more concerned with sodium content than how a product tastes. The channel "Eat This, Not That" is already the channel for the sodium phobic. Mashed is "supposed" to be the channel of "what tastes good".

I love the garlic knots, chocolate chip muffins, naan bread, plain bagels, and cheese danish. Not a fan of the rest.

Lidl has amazing croissants for store bought even at room temp.

I don't like Aldi bagels. Too gooey. I don't like Aldi bakery. I prefer Whole Foods and Trader Jo.
