Yeji is the leader! But Ryujin is the center so that's why she's in the middle most of the time ^^
Actually Lia is also the main singer but her range thrives in a lower tone so Yeji shines more in their songs.
Chaeryeong is the main dancer and the most stable one in live performances (she trained for the longest time as well).

They are all stable. Yeji is also the main dancer with Chaeryeong. Not JUST Chaeryeong. And Yeji is considered by fans the most stable ITZY member then Chaeryeong. This is basically what I always read in the comments. So yeah Yeji isn't just the leader. She is also one of the main dancers, she is the lead vocalist and a rapper. Just for you to know

So, basically: Ryujin, the girl you asked if she's the leader (in Dalla Dalla), is the center. The group's leader is Yeji. They all are dancers, of course, but the dance line is: Chaeryeong, Ryujin and Yeji. Lia is the main vocal, and Yuna is the group's visual.
Edit: I forgot the rap line haha: Ryujin and Yeji.

I kinda like that we see Itzy maturing every comeback, but it’s like the Twice situation where they don’t like that they aren’t giving very high teen energy anymore. Maybe it’s just me but I’m happy to see them grow out of the teen phase and into the more mature strong LOCO women phase 😂🤷🏽♂️ also reminds me also of NCT Dream how they’ve gone from cute to mature
idk why the other comments missed this but their leader, yeji, is also the main dancer. she's known as being their most stable live and an all rounder. she was considered their company's "secret weapon" and for good reason tbh.

Wannabe reigns supreme for me, that is a PERFECT kpop song. I would say my top goes like this:

Idk, I am a little disappointed with their last 3 comebacks but as I always say, no big deal, I’ll just wait for the next. The b sides are always pretty good at least!
We have different tastes in music. Personally I really loved their comeback. It exceeded my expectations. I thought Wannabe will still be my favorite but after hearing Loco, with just one listen it became my ultimate favorite ITZY track. So if you're disappointed of their last comebacks, don't expect others to be also disappointed because as I said we all have different tastes. My least favorite is ICY because I didn't like that much the rap talking chorus but it's still great. Loco is my favorite then Wannabe, Dalla Dalla, Mafia In The Morning, Not Shy then ICY.

I always like their performance even if the songs aren’t always something I’d put on my playlist, but I actually really enjoyed Loco, though not on the first listen. All around such a fun group to watch perform, always impressed with their stage presence

Yeah, it's hard to believe Mafia in the Morning got a mixed reaction, I loved it from the first time I heard it... you practically feel attacked from the beginning of the song, in a good way :)

You might have gotten Yeji mixed up in your head with Red Velvet's Yeri, which is another 5-member group. Not judging.
I know Yeri, it wasn't got their two 5 member groups, it's just that in my mind I didn't remember it was Yeji loool. I remembered seeing her name and that it started with a Y and ended with an i and I guess Yeri was the first to come to me since i've heard it before
I thought In the morning was such a boring song at first but I loved the performance so I kept watching the stages and now that song gets stuck in my head constantly! Still not my favorite but Lia sounds SO good in that comeback ❤️
i think since diverting from the self love & confidence theme of dalla dalla, icy & wannabe; it seems ITZY is trying to find a new theme & sound therefore the newer releases are a bit hit & miss. I love their energy & choreo & even the newer releases nevertheless , will wait for when they establish themselves. A GG I have lots of expectation from coz Talent is TOP TIER!!!!

I really love ITZY choreos, I learned the chorus part of every title track except In The Morning and I totally fell in love with Loco so I'm trying to learn the entire choreo of that rn^^
(also, i feel like you'll like their songs if you listen to them more, some of them need to grow on you. for example i also thought loco was kinda mediocre and uninteresting but the more i listened to it, the better it got and rn, it's one of my favourites from itzy. and i actually hated not shy when it first came out but it really grew on me and i love it now. so i feel like you'll like them more once you listen to them more but of course maybe it's just actually not your taste or something)

I am really late, but I am BEGGING y'all to react to "encores". An idol/group sings an encore after they win an award, which means that it is their live and RAW voices, so you really get to see how they preform without the autotune, studio effects, etc. Itzy encores are amazing because ,as I have watched this, I see how you really like their dance breaks, and they do them during encores (most of the time). Literally all the groups that you guys react to on this channel have done encores, please react to them!! Also if you do, you would have to skip the speech the group makes at the start (they do that because they have just won an award so it is kind of mandatory to thank their fans).
