It's interesting that a European company would even attempt to convert their game to the PC Engine when the console only really existed over here as an import.

Jim Power is too epic to not be exported on every platform, even the nokia ngage should have a jim power port.

I dont know about other European countries but I know that the PC-Engine was available for import here in France. In fact there even was a company created specifically to import the PC-Engine in France: it was called the SODIPENG (Société d'importation de la PC-Engine, PC-Engine importation company) and was ruled by one of the Guillemot brothers. (Founders of Ubisoft). The company adapted the console for european electricity standards and translated manuals for imported games.
Of coure it was an expensive product and very niche compared to Nintendo and Sega's markets.

@Love made in Japan Coregrafx is Japan only as well i thought? Though for the mini they gave it to europe for some reason.

@@TheZmusicGroup Yes there was a company that adapted them, but that was adapting pre existing consoles, there weren't proper euro releases of games or consoles made designed for here.

@@victorlacas6649 Lol apparently there is some company now that has that outlook and has made a NES version for some reason.

this version isn't too bad but it definitely lacks the tighter more crisp punchier sound of the Amiga original. The lead guitar in particular isn't very well played either which does hurt it

Not a fan at all of the changes from the original, but I dig that awesome CD quality and instruments!

This is the only version that is retains both the original stage 2 and 4 boss themes from the Amiga version

Olivier Cadieux yep, you are totally right but I love the original as it was simple and I think the sound works great...

Check out a runplay of Jim Power with full music almost without shot noises on my channel in the PC Engine CD playlist

its ok for someone who listens chart music mostly...but tries to hard to soind like epic, but fails miserably... as a big fan of CH music i am so disappointed... this ost is shurely made only for the money
