around 1989-90 my brother went to a college in upstate new york. one of his frat brothers had a cassette of about 70-90 minutes of what became the jerky boys. some of the calls on the tape were never released. he called it a bootleg i called him bullshit lucky to have a copy of what would become a constant source of amusement and lol's for years.(i'm 51 and i love these guys) even john musacha was in on some them back then. they had one on the tape that i recall being rizzo or rosenberg and they were calling a truck/van rental place after they'd crashed the truck\van.please, if anyone can remember this call or post it, it was great.
Weird. My cousin, who's 6 years older than me, went to Wesleyan in CT and when I was in 8th grade he let me come spend the weekend at his apt off campus. It was the best weekend of my young life lol! We went to his buddy's place and they kept making all these references to things I had no idea about until they popped in a tape with all these crazy prank calls on it. This was around '92 and I'd never heard of these guys back then. Anyways, they told me they got the tape from another friend and that there's going to be a a new one coming out soon. When the whole craze started around '93 I instantly recognized the voices and characters and actually called my cousin to ask him of it was the same guys and he said yeah. Those original bootlegs tapes were dubbed relentlessly and passed around until they got the attention of Howard Stern I believe, and the rest is history.

He said MTV was working on the same project and threw my storyboards under the bus, well that was 6 years ago and no animated series has come out. Maybe I should send it to him again, right flapjack.

They had a handful of "demos" prior to the initial album, based on what you have here I would guess they did their best to polish some of it up for the big leagues. This isn't evidence that both parties are in on the joke. Not saying that it's impossible, this just doesn't prove that.
