After all these years, I noticed how when Dreambert felt pity towards antasma, I think he was willing to form an alliance to take bowser down. But antasma instead doesnt take it. And realizing that he has nothing to live for anymore. No Dark Stone, no Dream Stone, and no partner. He is a complete and utter failure. So all he can do now is to finally truly challenge mario to a duel. And apart of me tells me that Antasma knew he would lose to Mario. (Now before you argue that Antasma was gonna betray Bowser anyway, except to which you would be wrong. He had like 5 good chances to do so. Yet he legitimately saw bowser as a trustworthy partner in crime.) So instead, he decided to go out in a blaze of glory. And boy did he. With one of the best fights in mario history with one of the best boss themes in mario history or hell even one of best bosses in not just mario, but gaming in general. Same with that boss theme. Because that is easily the best song in the game. Antasma secretly has alot of depth into his character. I just wish he was a bigger part of the plot because Antasma surprisingly doesn’t have many lines. And I think he should DEFINITELY make a return. If Elder Princess Shroob can become a mushroom and get eaten by Bowser only to show up frozen in his castle, then so can Antasma returning somehow. I also like how ambiguous antasma is. Like while we have a fine enough background for him, we don’t know too much about him. Could he be the devil, or maybe (a theory which i love btw) he’s ACTUALLY Cackletta’s ancestor. Which actually makes alot of sense. Both want a powerful object that can grant wishes, can attack by transforming into a bunch of bats, and can both duplicate themselves. Or maybe Antasma is related to the Dark Star somehow? Or maybe even both? Antasma is actually a really well written villain who just didn’t get enough screen time to really shine which is quite sad because he’s really cool. And now that mario and luigi is back, PLEASE TRY TO BRING MY BOY BACK NINTENDO
also from what i remember the only non-final-boss to get their own song (might be wrong with Princess shroob the younger, but she was built up as a final boss)

If I were in his shoes, I’d probably do the exact same. It would be humiliating teaming up with the good guys after being betrayed. Because deep down, he knows he’s pure evil, and he wants his final impression to be fearful and memorable.
The added lyrics in the beginning was a great surprise. The sheer malice and tension in Antasma's voice during the main theme was really well done. Best remaster I've ever seen.
The Antasma impression sounds even better here, as does the flow of certain lines. The beginning theme getting lyrics really ties it all together. Excellent remaster.
I like how you ended the video with Mario getting hit, which would imply to someone who doesn't know the game that he succeeded in killing him. But if you notice the shield, you know he's not dead.
The saddest part about Antasma, is that there's an argument to be made that Antasma never intended to betray bowser. If I recall correctly, Antasma always said 've would rule the world' Not I, or whatever. Perhaps, The bat made from fear had found a friend, only for such dreams to be crushed. Or maybe not, who knows, we won't now that alphadream is gone.

Well if we take a closer look antasma had MULTIPLE GOOD CHANCES TO BETRAY BOWSER! But he never acted upon a single one of them. He genuinely saw bowser a trustworthy partner in crime.

Well, this game comes after Bowser's Inside Story, and Bowser was severely betrayed in that game, so... Yeah, He definitely learned from that entire experience.
I love the deep snarles on those few parts! It makes Antasma seem a lot more vicious. I like putting new and old versions of music videos together, and besides the beginning before the main bit, they sound great together! Love this!!!
Your Antasma voice is genuinely amazing. It's so goofy yet it's treated so seriously, to the point it's genuinely a bit menacing, like he's still holding onto the performance of being a menacing villain, while still showing that desperation.
I rarely comment things but, OH MY GOD. I've wanted a remaster for so long! I absolutely adore the original, I am SOOOO happy for this! The art is absolutely amazing, and adding another song + more of an introduction on top of Antasma's theme as well is just, wow. Further emphasizing Antasma's accent is absolutely amazing! I absolutely LOVE Antasma as a villain, from his design to his actions. The original has been stuck in my head for so long. I recently finished dream team and I HAD to play your cover during the fight. Thank you so, SO MUCH for making such amazing covers and songs!

I've never had such a pleasent dream of sawblades and a red plumber being psychologically tormented by a nightmare vampire. It's even funnier how his beanpole brother was too scared to do anything. Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah! All hail Count Antasma, our vampiric nightmare king!
Yes. Yesyesyes. The added dialogue and characters gives the cover a lot more life, the extra song adds more ominous notes, and the retake on the song itself is so stellar (the overemphasized accent is so so good and, being a bass, I love how you drop into a lower register frequently). Three years makes a huge difference in skill, and I’m a huge supporter of redoing old content once in a while to show improvement! I loved this even more than the original.
I wanna mention something. Bowser is commonly called an idiot, for good reason. He underestimates people, doesn’t think things through and lets his actions speak way before his words. But…he succeeded in something that Dr. Eggman, a certified genius with an IQ of 300, constantly fails at. Eggman has tried to keep other beasts under his thumb and they almost always revolt against him before long. Chaos, Dark Gaia, the Hard-Boiled Heavies, Metal Sonic, the Deadly Six, and don’t even get me started on the shows and comics. Hell, I’d wager if Infinite ever comes back, he ain’t joining Eggman’s side again. But Bowser, a proven moron, played ANTASMA for a fool! True, Bowser has been double crossed a couple times too, but not as often or as humiliating. And of course, great remaster Juno! This is one of the best lyrical covers you’ve made, so it’s a treat to see it return, and what better month than October for the Bat King?

The vampire vibes were turned up to 11 in the new remaster! The new delivery really sells Antasma's Dracula inspiration, and the intro was a great addition that really built hype for the OG song. Nice work!
God I loved the original to death and rediscovered it back in January this year and obsessed over it for so long again to where I memorized the lyrics and obsessed with Dream Team for a while all together. This remaster is everything! I love it so much! Keep up the amazing vocal work man!

That feeling when you go from a normal bat to the embodiment of nightmares and back to a “bat fiddle.” Pitiful, isn’t it? Partially unrelated but my headcanon is that Bowser’s social skills are so bad that he had no reason to think Antasma would betray him than that similar-looking people have done so. Not looking for signs so much as going with pattern recognition. Is that a bad thing? No idea.
While I still think that making Antasma out to be another Dracula clone, a mold he solidly removed himself from due to not having the typical associations, this is a solid song an very much improves the original due to how much better the accent is this time around. Nice work Juno.

This is an awesome remaster of the Final Antasma Battle theme! I love how it feels very well built up to the actual fight with Bowser betraying Antasma to have everything to himself, clashing with Dreambert and then trying to take care of Mario and Luigi before going after Bowser that the original cover never had in it.

now this is a true masterpiece of a song the art work on the pictures and the way antasma's is way more shouty when he sings is so good and when you added the extra bit at the beginning was super cool and the way you change a bit of the lyrics from the other one is cool as well :)

Fun: fact in the inglish version dreambert days "sutch a betrayeal i pity you antasma" but in some other languages he say "i ALMOST pity you" i just think its funy how in the other version he just has more sass

I remember watching the original when it originally came out and this is such an improvement from the original!
I like the new voice for Antasma. The old one made him seem like a crazy vampire, while this one makes him seem more imposing, like a true king of nightmares.
I will never sacrifice the Dracula voice but I did try to put a lil more oomph into him!

Partially unrelated but my headcanon is that Bowser’s social skills are so bad that he had no reason to think Antasma would betray him than that similar-looking people have done so. Not looking for signs so much as going with pattern recognition. Is that a bad thing? No idea.

While I still think that making Antasma out to be another Dracula clone, a mold he solidly removed himself from due to not having the typical associations, this is a solid song an very much improves the original due to how much better the accent is this time around. Nice work Juno.

Juno songs you took a masterpiece and made it better
This is an awesome remaster of the Final Antasma Battle theme! I love how it feels very well built up to the actual fight with Bowser betraying Antasma to have everything to himself, clashing with Dreambert and then trying to take care of Mario and Luigi before going after Bowser that the original cover never had in it.
And here I thought it was impossible to improve on something that was already perfect. Way to prove me wrong, Juno! This is amazing!
