Hello, in this video I show you how to dissemble and reassemble the Bestway/Flowclear 530gal pump, thus enabling you to check the washers, impeller shaft and impeller itself. On my pump the impeller actually spins through 355 degrees stopping on an internal baffle, this is fine it dosn't affect my pump from working, just gives it a rattling noise when on, I'm thinking its a design to enable a smoother flow, Who knows!. Other models may have a solid impeller.

Great, simple video! My pump keeps tripping out the ring main RCD. Can’t figure out why. Once it’s all stripped down, is it safe to plug in and see what happens to the RCD? Or will that cause damage?

It's not advisable, but small bursts shouldnt harm it. if yr pump is tripping the RCD it could be terminal im afraid.

Afraid the cable is not replaceable, as its sealed in with epoxy into the base of the motor housing.

My impeller shaft is worn out causing it to rattle. You can clearly see the metal is worn. I turned it up side down as a temporary fix. 🤫

yeah the wear to the shaft is common, it can also rattle due to the impeller blades that spin through 340 degrees on the magnet shaft.

@@Jonseyt23 can’t find any replacement shafts or impellers. Do you? Thought of replacing it with a stainless steel welding rod and fill up the impeller again with expoxy resin. Doesn’t matter that it is a 50 euro pump but a man needs something to do 😂

@Berry Waanders I not really looked, I was going to go to my local aquatics/pond place as I rekon it could be the same size as one of the proper, underwater pond pumps for a fountain.
