After weeks of failing to get past P2 on Heroic, basically never get to hear this part of the soundtrack, then finally got into a hypergamer group, got to p3 1st try everyone alive but wiped because bad defile, 2nd pull absolutely dumpster the Jailer during the Azeorth soak phase with Bloodlust while the music hits the crescendo. All the groups since then P3 has been pretty scuffed. Pretty fitting thinking back, phase 3 isn't a "oh no he's turning even stronger" but rather "champions of Azeorth! Put him out of his misery." Much better than Sylvanas's p3.
I wish that WoW would create the same way the music flows in FF14 when combat starts you get a battle theme, would really be cool to hear different phases of music to bring in that tension and elevation more during phases
I'm sure it's gonna be similar here tbh, hell the Music in the end has a PRIME mix of Sargeras and "hope" in it alongside the Domination theme, feels to me like they're taking notes at least, as the theme slowly goes from Despair and Domination to "Heroes protecting Azeroth and defying the Jailer from remaking the Cosmos in Death"!
@@sethxtekken You mean WoW copying FF or other games with boss music and multiple transition phases? Also, here's a reminder that copying doesn't equal bad, WoW's done it plenty of times, only now everyone is finally realizing the storytelling is shit...
Not bad, but it fails to elicit this big emotional response from me like a lot of other boss themes do. Maybe it’s because of the character it’s based on. It just screams generic bad guy song. See how intimidating he is?!?
Maybe, but I do like the ending motifs, like the hopeful mix and Alliance/Horde team up ordeal it's going on for it, alongside the Domination/Sargeras mix, and the Call to Arms reprise in a much more hopeful manner.
They should've reprised the "Legends of Azeroth" for the big Jailer fight at the end of the raid. Over 14 years worth of story (Even if you do hate the way the story went, cry about it), is finally coming to a draw. This is a monumental battle against the foe who has led and schemed the machinations of Azeroth's plights for a long time!
When was the first time we heard that btw? Pretty sure it was WC3 yeah? With Arthas? Idk about WC's 1-2, but if it started in WC3, I think it makes sense for it to have some sense of full circling here lol.
@@raidwipe I mean, the Void Lords just play with any event they see going on and just roll with it, so I wouldn't be shocked if they're secretly playing "spectator" during all of this. The First Ones are looking at the WoW Verse they designed and willed into existence like "...meh, they got this"
Btw that's not "call to arms" from vanilla, it's "point of impact" from BFA. That said, they sure picked the worst version of this track to mix with sepulcher music. The part that plays during the Azshara fight is way cooler.
11:39 this part is probably when the jailer phase where he starts directly attacking azeroth starts
It was. :D
@@preds43 i knew it! :D

The music in 9.2 is amazing and nicely orchestrated and made/produced.
11:39 CHAMPION!
3:35 - 8:03 Is called "Unbroken Will Action" from the Shadowlands launch OST
I enjoy the motifs they used here from the Sargeras/The Wound theme from the end of Legion
0:00 - 3:35 Is a new take on "Domination Battle" from the Shadowlands launch OST
12:25 Tirion Fordring casting mass resurrection just like Terenas Menethil II did once
11:39 - 13:22 "Point of Impact" (BfA Azerite theme)
8:04 - 11:35 Remix of "Unbroken Will Ambient"

Wow i can hear the musix of Bolvar here. What is he going to do
Idk… Compared to Sylvanas- her theme seemed more final/end game.

It was a good attempt. It's just impossible to make people care about Jailer as an ultimate villain.
Where can I download this?
The only good thing about the Jailer, specially in his boss fight.

Yeah, this track could have been really cool but they botched it by trying to blend in a bunch of incompatible themes.
