Caresse died three years after this interview (1970) but what I found interesting about this woman is her sharp memory of everything she accomplish & people she had met back in the 20s. Very interesting to listen to if you are familiar with the story of Harry Crosby & The Black Sun publications. Looking at photographs of Caresse with Harry in their youth -- she was quite a lovely lady & she retains that beauty even into her late 70s. A charming person with these two inquiring starched shirts. Black Sun in its later years published Charles Bukowski -- I wonder if these men would discuss him?
