Why are you connecting Google Tag Manager if you are adding the tags directly in WordPress?

You can do it either way, I still need to record a newer review as a few things changed and will bring this up and make it clear. Thank you!

Really liked the video. I am experiencing different numbers in Google analytics vs Clarity (208k users in GA vs 202k in Clarity, and 318k sessions in GA vs 360k in Clarity. Do you have any idea why this would happen? The tags are set to fire on all pages.

Thank you for the reply and I am sorry for taking so long. I usually respond within a day or two. I think Google Analytics and Clarity have different triggers when it comes to identify what is a session and track it, that happens for page views, visitors, average time spent on page and many other stats.
Besides Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, I use as reference a Wordpress plugin called JetPack which brings me stats about page views and visitors, and I also use Navegg that provides users, page views and bounce rate. They have never shown the exact same numbers, but they are always within a reasonable gap.

With regards to the con maybe the issue is with the theme you are using because clarity shows fine in all my sites that I have used it. I had a site that did appear messed up but I came to realize it was a site theme issue, the theme I used to create the site kept breaking from time to time every time the plugins updated, it was in fact an Astra theme so I just contacted the themes support about this. The other time there was an issue was when we would view the recordings and see white but this still wasnt a clarity issue but the website hosting being used. The website owners were using a trash whitelabel hosting company whose servers kept crashing so when we sent leads there, they wouldnt convert but see a white screen, highly terrible user experience.

I have received a message from a Microsoft employee and was instructed to do it differently. How were you able to diagnose that the problem was the website’s theme? I usually use Elementor with Hello Elementor theme. Should I use a different theme?

@@LucasDantas1910 For me I opened it via mobile and saw it looked like trash so I contacted astra and they told me to switch off all plugins from auto-updating and then put them on one by one in order to see which plugin might be causing it. The reason why I like clarity is because I use UTM tags when running campaigns and clarity links directly with Google analytics so when a visitor comes to my site in the recording sections ,the area written entry will show the link so I can easily distinguish which user comes from which traffic source and because of this I can spot bot traffic from ad platforms. I haven't seen hotjar showing UTMs so it makes it hard to attribute where a visitor is coming from.

That’s pretty good. I wouldn’t mind doing it with my own website, but will probably take more time if I do that with all the websites I am currently managing. Do you think Elementor might be breaking it? That’s what I use consistently on all the websites I maintain.

@@LucasDantas1910 I don't think elementor can do that it must mainly be the theme not working well with a specific plugin. You can always call the support of the specific theme you used then ask them to figure it out.

No caso eu uso WP Rocket. Se você achar uma solução poderia gravar mais vídeos? Gostei bastante do seu conteúdo
