Let's say, You have worked and slaved for 10 years, built up a 100k stash. So now you only care about storing your hard earned money that it took you 10 years to accumulate. You have no idea but the banks have made everything 30% more expensive over the past 10 years, so your 100k is worth only 70k. Your younger sister is 10 years younger than you and is just now joining the workforce. The same thing is going to happen to her. She will be robbed as well. Your future kids, when they enter the work force, will be robbed by hidden inflation from money printing. All workers generation after generation will be robbed by Fiat currency central banks. But you only are thinking about yourself at this moment, what you are focused on is your current stash. You got fcked, and no one told you, so now you're saying, "WE DONT NEED A CURRENCY" Open your eyes. You need it, every person entering the workforce today needs it. Your kids will need it. Stop being a boomer and only thinking about yourself at this moment.

Elon Musk makes sense. The more you use a currency, the more value it has. The more value it has in that regard, the more popular it becomes and the more people that want it in their financial portfolio, which, by economic math, will increase the price tag of something, possibly exponentially, depending on how popular. Hold on to your cryptocurrency and hope that it becomes popular and has a good use case. ;)

I agree with Elon. Dogecoin is better, more usable, and widespread. But it is also the most "worth"less. Its just a cool idea and kinda neat background. Just the billy markus and jackson palmer names make me want it, like two cool video gamer dudes made it. But its so worthless. It could never beat etherium or reach the power level of bitcoin.

The best argument against bitcoin, is that it requires a phenomenal amount of study to learn, even for very intelligent people. If you don´t have the time to learn about bitcoin, just invest in real estate, it is very easy to understand.

I can't believe how ignorant this is from him. Have you heard of the lightning network? 😂.. do you know anything about the block size wars (which were NOT in 2008, they were almost 10yrs later) when bitcoin intentionally decided to stay with smaller blocks in favor of more decentralization. This was (especially in light of the lightning network for small transactions now) a brilliant decision. So now bitcoin is the best of both worlds.
