So muss das sein Michael. War damals eine sehr schöne Zeit in den 80ern. Neonfarben, geile Mucke, ausgeflippte Partys. Ich vermisse das alles sehr. Damals war nicht so eine Hektik und man sah es nicht so eng. Ich machte damals 1979 meinen LKW Führerschein und lebte meinen Traum den ich zum Beruf machte. Ich bin Fernfahrer und gehe in ein paar Jahren in Rente zusammen mit meinem langjährigen Weggefährten. Ich kaufte damals einen Mercedes 1632 als Sattelschlepper den ich bis heute fahre. Er sieht immer noch aus wie neu. Wir beide haben viel erlebt,das kann ich dir sagen. Und die schönste Zeit war tatsächlich in den 80ern und 90ern. Bei solchen Liedern wie Another Holiday blicke ich wehmütig zurück auf eine tolle Zeit
I noticed the bass lines as I'm a bassist too...the bassist is awesome. I heard this for the first time back in the 80's. Fast forward to 2023 ...I'd been searching for the song for years but didn't remember the name of the band. When I came across it finally here on TH-cam I was so happy to hear it. This female vocalist is so amazing & I love her voice in the chorus. Really INCREDIBLE. I love this song.

In the comments of Axel F we were talking about the quintessential 80s song. Quite a number of legitimate songs came up including Holiday. The chorus makes me bawl. Holiday made me think of Breakaway by Big Pig - another forgotten gem from when I was in grade12. Why is there an H is chorus, or a C in yacht? No, it's a boat that should be in the sea no the other way around. No C in boat thank goodness.

Alf Klimek und seine Geschwister ( Zwillinge) , Jayney ( Gesang ) und Johnny ( Bass ) hatten in den 80gern einige Aufnahmen mit dem Schlagzeuger Armin Rühl ( Herbert Grönemeyer ) in Berlin gemacht. Damals hatten die Musiker von Herbert Grönemeyer in der Nähe von Heidelberg noch Bands wie ,, Starboyz ,, ,,Die Wilde 13,, u.s.w. die in der Region sehr bekannt waren für ihre Konzerte und spontane Partys. Die drei Geschwister Klimek waren oft aus Berlin zu Besuch da um bei den Sessions dabei zu sein und es war immer Lustig wenn sie dabei waren. Ich arbeitet oft als Backliner bei den Starboyz und Wilde 13 , als wir hörten das die Klimeks kommen , sagten wir immer ,, ohh liebe Leute ,die Australier kommen `` den die Klimeks waren alle immer sehr nett , Lustig , nie Langweilig und immer voller drang Musik zu machen. Remember this being played when I was on holiday in Callela Spain in 1988 & loving it. So glad I've found it, it's now in my favourites...
