    ❤what you said in the description Ms.Sandi! Very inspirational and true! I am going to take that advice and start doing things on a smaller scale! Like men with luxury car models huh? Lol TFS all your unique ideas!❤

      Ladybug, I'm so glad you were inspired.
      Love your analogy, men with luxury car models. Exactly!!
      I appreciate your support, hope to see you around. 😊🌺🐭🍁

    Sandi, this is just beautiful! My cousin and her hubby use to make the ocean resin tables. Sooo gorgeous. Hope you can make that dream of making a full size one a reality one day! Thanks for sharing gf! 🌻🌺🌹🌷☺🌞

      Hey Sis😁. Thank you. A pine tree? Do you mean pine wood? I'm not understanding. 😊🌺🐭

    I can totally see the depth between the wood and the mica, it really pops. Looks 3D. (Sandi, I know you already know this, just a lil tip for beginners or just someone wondering... ?) IF, you want that smoother edge on the outside of the the finished piece, run a good size bead of clear silicone inside the mould, and then smooth it out, let that cure before pouring your resin. Again, another beautiful piece Sandi!! Tooooodles!!!!😊

      Thank you, Yvette 😊. Oh good, I didn't think the depth was distinguishable. And...SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.... I honestly didn't know the silicone thing. I made these a couple yrs ago. I must have skipped school that day.
      I used them, then packed them away. I am totally going to smooth some out now. Thank you so much for this very valuable tip!!! Until next time...Toooodles ☺️🌺🐭

    I loved this whole process/tutorial! The only thing I would disagree with you about, is having that smoothed edge. I also think, let's do a Table!! It's Awesome! I hate my undersides of mica's as a rule. You Backside was The HoT Diggity! Thanks for sharing!

      Heidi, you made my night😊. This was a lot of fun. I'm so glad you like it. I would love to do a table. The wood is crazy expensive for that. I have a couple of burls I'm itching to use. Have to wait for them to dry well enough though. I've been doing countertop pours and am over the moon with them. If you're interested in a longer video, I'd love to post some of my pieces.
      I appreciate your HoTT DiGgiTy response😄 Thank you for your support and comment. It means everything to me.☺️🌺🐭

      @@sandisshedhouse4741 I would love to see the counter top pours! ADdress my concern about trying it with my "rugular epoxy?" I think it needs to be a different type. Not sure which.

      Heidi, I'll have to get recording those. There are several Resins for countertops. I use Extreme Resin. It has a pot time of 35mins-1 hr, depending on the temp in your pouring space. It cures super hard and doesn't take days to cure.
      But there are several brands. I've also been leaning toward Wisebond. But haven't ordered that one yet.

    could you use a coaster mold or geode mold? or even just do an abstract design with hot glue on silicone mat and then pull the glue away from it?

    • @sandisshedhouse4741
      @sandisshedhouse4741  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Amy. Yes, you could totally use a pre-formed mold. I used the one I used because it was deeper than my manufactured molds.
      I've not had good luck, using hot glue for my mold. My resin stuck so hard to it I had to toss them. You may have better luck, if you break them away quicker than I did (about a week). Let me know how it goes for you ☺️🌺🐭
