With years of experience in mixed media arts, I have determined, my joy is found in sharing the skills I have developed through the years, with others.
Functional art, with a 3D effect, encapsulates the vibe, I want to convey on my channel.
This channel seeks to incorporate a mixed media approach to resin tumblers, as well as, various sub straights of texture and materials.
My intent is to provide tutorials, broken into a video series, when practical. Viewers can expect a higher level of difficulty, beyond the typical TH-cam channel content, of resin tumblers and the like.
This channel's focus is to stretch the imagination, enhance, and build upon, already established ground level skills in resin and sculpting, in a fun, safe and cooperative environment.

Thank you for watching. Below you'll find the links for the No Need Spray, White Waterslide Paper, for Inkjet and Laser Printer, I used in the video. I was happy to review this product and recommend it. Printing was easy and the paper held the ink, dispite not having been sprayed with anything, before application to my tumbler. It is a Matte finish, so, when the ink dries, it takes on a look si...

Alcohol Ink Waterfall Technique on slate stone, is just what was needed to bring this piece to it's modern day glory. This slate plaque had seen it's best days, years ago. This piece was so much fun to make. Ocean/River tables have always been a fascination of mine. I have studied the process for many years and have never been in a situation, (Room, Materials, Finances, Nerve) to actually build one. After waiting for what may never come, I found an option I could actually bring to fruition. A Mini Ocean/River Table, Ornament. I am so pleased with the way this pie...

Beautiful
What does burnish mean? New to this lol
It just means, to rub it in.
I just found your channel! I realize this was 3 yrs ago so I'm going to say... I hope you've made tons of money and got your piece of the marijuana pie ❤ I make almost everything marijuana related (mandalas, rolling trays, tumblers, ink pens etc) and I make a lot of money Stoners will buy ANYTHING weed related 😂
Absolutely beautiful!!! Glad you skipped the vinyl.
Thanks! Me too.
I know this was 3 years ago. but ty so much. You answered my question on how to get it to lay as flat as you can. I tried one and it wrinkled so bad. Now I know what to do
You should have sanded in between coats. But I love the idea
No worries. It all came out great in the end and the recipient was happy.
That was cool. I have never seen tumblers made. Now I have watched you make 3. lol love your videos ❤
Thank you, @patriciacushing74
❤
Wow, so happy you came up on my feed! I ❤❤❤❤ this.
I appreciate your kind words and I'm glad you're enjoying my content. 😊
OMGoodness that is stunning. I was like no,no,no, before you started drizzling on the extra resin. I loved it before the drizzle and swipe. I love it just as much after the swipe. lol 😂 I know the pain of going too far and wishing you had stopped at one point, and the joy when it all comes together. ❤
😂😂 It can be nerve-wracking, can't it? This was one I held my breath on as well.
Haven't seen you in forever and today this video pops up. Not sure how I missed this one when I binged watched your videos. Beautiful cup. Hope you're doing good, was kinda worried about ya.
What kind of turner do you have? I’m just getting started in all this beautifulness
I use turners my husband and I made. You can order the rotisserie motors from Amazon pretty inexpensively. There are several TH-cam videos of how to make diy tumbler turners. If you lived in upstate NY, I'd give you my 4 arm turner.
@@sandisshedhouse4741 Thank you, I’ll have to check it out. I appreciate your thoughtfulness on your four arm turner, but I live in KY.
That part of the leaf is not smokable so us stoners are giving you a thumbs up
😂😂 Thanks. I appreciate the thumbs up of approval.
What color micas did you use? That is awesome!
Thank you.😊 Unfortunately, I don't remember the colors. They were part of a set by Let's Resin, Interference Powder mica. Amazon has it. I hope this helps.🙂
Very pretty
Thank you.😊
Gorgeous ✨
Thank you. 😊
Do I have to put a second coat of epoxy ona tumbler like this.
That's entirely up to you. I would recommend an additional coat for the sake of durability. One coat could easily Crack or shatter with a simple bump. 😊
Thats gorgeous!!
Thank you😊
I’m glad you decided against the vinyl. It’s beautiful.
Thank you😊
What is that first color?
Beautiful. I JUST FOUND YOUR CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBED. HUGS
Beautiful!
What's the tape? Please provide a link 😉
I got it from Amazon. I don't know how to get a link. I'm sorry.
Thats a beautiful wrap and print!! This seems to be your last video posted. Are you still around in the craft world? In one of your other videos you mentioned you have been sick. Prayers that your health did not worsen!Hugs
Gorgeous!!! I'm just getting started on my tumbler journey and am going to play your video back in a slower speed so I don't miss a thing. You are very talented!!!
Awww, thank you 😊
Would this work with a bingo dauber
I honestly don't know. I feel like the sponge would not give you an even color coverage. But, you could try a sample piece on cardboard and see how it does. Good luck. 😊
So pretty! What did you end up using for the swirl? The white glitter and mica powder or the chunky glitter?
Thank you, Wendy. I used the white glitter and mica powder. I had to watch h it back to be sure. Lol Thank you for watching.😊
Absolutely beautiful ❤. I miss your video's. I hope you are good.
Aww thank you 🥰 I've been dealing with some health issues since last yr. I'm also trying to get a voice back. My vocal chord was damaged, as a result of surgery. I'm not sure people would be able to stand listening to me now. I sound like a 130yr old man. Lol. I've been contemplating giving it a whirl again. I miss my community. If I started again, it would likely not be primarily tumblers though. Let me know if you'd be interested in more than tumblers. 😊
@sandisshedhouse4741 I'm so sorry to hear that. I have been suffering with long term Side affects due to Covid and some other issues. I would definitely be interested to watch other things. I always love to try something new. Feel better soon. 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much😊 The long COVID can be pretty debilitating. Please take care of yourself. I hope you find relief soon.
What temperature do you use to dry in 2 hours?
Low heat setting
Do you still make cups? I love your videos! ❤
Thank you. I haven't in a while due to health issues. And as a result of a surgery, I have a paralyzed vocal chord which has left me fighting for a voice. I'm not sure when or if I'll be able to make videos again, unless I just don't talk. I appreciate your support.🙂
Beautiful
Thank you😊
Awesome
Absolutely stunning. ❤ this technique. Really looks like the stone too. Fantastic tutorial. 🥰
You're so sweet. It was a bit of a struggle. I knew what I wanted but questioned the execution. Thank you so much😊
Beautiful colors on this. ❤ it without the glitter and agree, it is gorgeous as it is.
Thank you. 😊
Very cool method for sure. Never thought of using mica like that as a base color with tack it. I think I like this a lot better than spray painting. Sometimes way too cold to spray paint here in winter. ❤ this tutorial.
I'm so glad you found this helpful. I too have the issue with cold weather. Also, it's not always convenient (windy) to spray paint. I hope you have great success with this method. 😊
Beautiful! Nice thinking outside the box with the markers!
Thank you. I appreciate that.😊
Anyone ever try to add the white first?....then the colors so you can see better? Just wondering, I haven't tried this yet.
Great question. White tends to be heavier and, therefore, drops straight through the epoxy, leaving fish eyes. If you mix the White with epoxy first, you've got a good chance with it. Just my experience. Let me know if you have success with it.
Reminded me of rose petals but can see Irises also. Came out beautiful. ❤ it.
Thank you. I love when people find elements of nature in my art.
@@sandisshedhouse4741 I was one of those kids that laid down in tall grass and stared at clouds and saw different things in them.

@@sandisshedhouse4741 in my 70’s now and pretty sure I’ll never lose that childlike awe and imagination. 🥰
I love this!!
This is the best tumbler I have seen ❤. I have made 4 small river tables, and this is very lifelike, I absolutely love it and will give it a try on a tumbler someday, I have never made a tumbler yet. Other than an attempt at the snow globe effect in blood lol.
Thank you so much! I hope you get to tackle a tumbler soon. Watch out for those snow globes, they will cut you.😉
@@sandisshedhouse4741 the snow globe tumbler didn't turn out the greatest, walls in-between apparently are too thin for the oil to flow properly. I'm looking to source out more, I just want to make for myself a few Halloween/horror themed snow globe style tumblers. And the other tumblers will also be for myself and family. I don't sell its just a hobby lol
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you kindly🙂
@@sandisshedhouse4741 You are very welcome
Great work seriously.
Thank you. I appreciate your support ☺️
Doing this ontop of a table top a picnic table actually placing leaves under the spar urethane coat will a freshly picked leaf keep its shape and color uner the coat or do i have flat dry it prior thank u.
@MR-puffnstuff Love the name!!! You definitely want to dry it. Fresh leaves will cause condensation, rot and turn moldy. Lay the leaves on parchment paper and press inside a book. I was gifted my leaves. They were placed inside a photo album. The ones that used to peel back the film and it was sticky underneath. However, mine were also many yrs old. It will need weight to dry flat. Otherwise it'll curl up on the ends.
I love GNOMEs and this tumbler is absolutely adorable!! You made it look soo easy! Thank you
Aww. Thank you for saying so. I'm glad you felt it was easy. Please feel free to give it a whirl. I appreciate your support ☺️
