I just started playing for the first time a few days ago. So far I’ve got all three fields of my farm growing the only thing in season at the moment, and am just grinding contracts using borrowed equipment if needed. It’s a small hit on the payout, but it’s pure profit, and you get to use and learn many pieces of equipment you can’t afford yet.
@@NolanFarms I will have to look at those! I had one yesterday that was brutal. Like, it was actually starting to feel like real work, lol. It was a $25K payout, but took at least two hours. It was a potato harvest, and I had AI running the harvester, but I had to use the tractor and trailer along side filling as it went along. Every time the trailer was full I had to drive it about three miles to sell it and go back. Probably made 20 or more trips, and it felt like it would never end. $25K doesn't go very far when you're buying farm equipment! lol.
Good video dude, Not sure why I watched it because I didn't need the info with 400 hours in game but still an interesting watch lol I recommend the realistic leasing mod as well because the vanilla leasing system is not the greatest and far to expensive to even consider using it as a viable option in situations, especially when playing on hard difficulty etc. And there is such a good feeling about spending a lot of time grinding a farm to see it grow.
@@NolanFarms I think it depends on the play you're going for. If you're doing a farm manager and able to set yourself up with land and equipment in the beginning than leasing in general would probably be something that wouldn't need to be done much. But when doing a start from scratch and focusing more on realism then I would definitely consider it essential because it can be nearly impossible to be profitable in situations if you need to lease a piece of equipment even short term

So True!
My favorite missions are the fertilizer ones, just because they seem like you make alot of money in a quick time!

@@AV8R_1 that sounds like TORTURE. I probably wouldn’t have finished a contract like that!

@@SirSauccyy 100% agree on this! I’m looking at producing a video on my essential mods and can’t decide on if this one is truely essential though!
