@@freakinxbox yeah I wish you had your legs better than being a millionaire. I'm pretty sure as it logical follows that Only God can exist as Jesus Christ who did exist but of course most Jews and barely any Muslims acknowledge Jesus Christ as God. But it's logical to be in physical shape. I know I won't have the strength Samson had but then again I read recent story from Inspiring Philosophy about Samson biblical story. And since I know it's true I saw how terrifying it is and realistic. That Samson isn't the one with the power necessarily not really literally the only why Samson seemingly had such great metaphysical strength is because of the Holy Spirit Residing in him. And Samson never was a good man which I suggest hearing the story I liked it because I understood why I shouldn't want to become a super physically strong ego maniac. And beyond the human capabilities which aren't far at all compared to when God was in Samson. And so I think I should become disciplined physically and mentally spiritually and emotionally mabey psychogically but I don't know that one. But I know I can't contain all that knowledge by myself so I'd do the physically and spiritual first. Pray to God that he dwells within me and this the only reason I'm capable of such Great features of the human body but only with God am I truly Greatness. So therefore I don't believe in myself but I believe in God only. Im only 20 so this could be silly but I think it makes sense if only I could talk with Paul Washer and Ray Comfort.

@@freakinxbox - Even if I am an invalid confined to a bed in my home I can still impact the world for Christ Jesus and His commands if I "make disciples of all nations". You see we all truly live if others remain strong in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 3:8. Be discipled to become a disciple who makes still more disciples in Christ Jesus. You yourself may never physically step foot outside of your home yet as you make disciples the Christ you pour into each of them takes you as well into the world that God still so loves.

    Lord,
please use ALL of our lives for You. for Your Kingdom. may Your will be done, Your name be hallowed, Your Kingdom come, not ours. Lord, i’m sorry for wasting so much time on things that are useless. things that you even went to the cross for. please use our lives for You, and may we loosen our grips of things that not matter. rather, may we look at what is above. on what is truly important. things of You. please drive out everything that is not of You.
may You be the driving force of our lives. the prize is You Lord. You are worthy of our all, yet we give so so little. forgive us O Lord, and transform and cleanse our hearts in Your Spirit i ask, that we may learn to worship You with all our being, everyday.
    in Jesus’ Name i pray,
    Amen.
please incline your ears to my prayer. Lord, may this not be said in vain. you truly redeemed us and gave us new lives. may we crucify our old sinful desires, pick up the cross daily, and choose to follow you. please give us the strength to do so.

    1 Timothy 6:1,3,6-7,9,13,15-17,19 KJV
[1] Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. [3] If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; [6] But godliness with contentment is great gain. [7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. [13] I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; [15] Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; [16] Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. [17] Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; [19] Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

I get you but I as a 16 year old, didn't feel very good when I took out all entertainment from my life, can't say I feel very good mentally now either but I don't think people should think it's a sin to "waste time" because if it is good for your mental health to play video games for fun or maybe play with friends then why not? What's the difference between playing with someone and taking a walk with someone, except that you aren't there physically? If you get addicted or play for too long then that's another thing.

Paul W is kinda interesting in some ways. I certainly agree with him that things can be fruitless and you will eventually end up dead, but I’m not entirely sure just spending time in community with people while playing football or video games with friends. I don’t think God hates recreational or things that give us pleasure, but rather whether or not they are done with an attitude ready at any moment to serve the Lord. And not everyone is called to be a missionary, often enough people can share the gospel of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection in varying ways like music or being able to teach well like in 1 Cor 12. I know where he is coming from, but I believe that missions can be done as one goes and meets individuals that need to turn away from their sin and believe on Jesus for the forgiveness of sin and rescuing from Gods holy wrath which we rightfully deserve because we broke His law.

Amen! I like Paul on a lot of stuff, but he tends to be very legalistic. We have freedom in Christ. Obviously if your hobby is more important to you than the Lord, or its consuming your life and is effecting your walk with God its a sin, but if God has His rightful place in your life, and you are putting Him first, you can enjoy recreational activities. If it's wrong to play Video games for fun, than it's probably also a sin to go on a date with your wife because it's fun. The Bible warns against asceticism and following man-made laws and passing them off as commands from God. Just follow the leading of the Holt Spirit, He's faithful to convict us and lead us into all truth

@@astralc6072 you can not force someone to study.. just as you can not force someone to have faith or to walk in faith for that matter. .. God called Abraham and Abraham answered. .. Moses didn't actually know The Lord until his forty years in the wilderness was almost up.. then God Called, after his, you could say training and maturing.. and Moses answered. ... Joseph was read the scriptures (Jacob was a lousy teacher because he had a habit of going his own way, which set an Unfruitful example for his children.. yet, he had a repentant heart). Joseph chose to answer the call to follow Truth when he only saw the action of faith and the denying of the flesh through Noah and Abraham and I believe, Job. ... Joseph's brothers, not counting Benjamin, were not read the scriptures and were not taught how to read. But, when they were called, they answered.. after much wicked living. .. David was sent, he acted in faith and had a love for Truth. .. Daniel kept the Truth in the front of his heart and mind.. The Truth that God Is Sovereign and that He has a reason for allowing everything he allows and Daniel chose to submit to God's Perfect Timing. ... There are so many more men and women, as well as children/youths (Jeremiah, as well as David), who were called and answered. And there were many that were called and did not answer.. or they answered and started out Hot and then ended Cold (Adam, Solomon, Eli the priest, Hezekiah) or the other way around (Jacob, Peter, James and John (The sons of thunder), Reuben, Judah, etc) ... I believe that Proverbs 22:6 means that there are people who are taught the Word Of God and continue to read as well as study as they grow in age. I also believe that there are children who are forced to read out loud and the Word Of God does not depart from them when they are older.. meaning that they remember The Words, but they are only words if the person has no conviction of sin. .. But, Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that Eternity has been set in our hearts. So, with Eternity being set beforehand in our hearts, vain pursuits have an end to their endeavors... either physical departure from this passing world will occur or we will die to our flesh and follow the Truth that echoes within us. ... As parents, we are commanded to raise our children up in His Word, not in an abusive manner.. Ishmael was not forced to follow God, but he was called and he declined the call. Ishmael was going his own way before Isaac was born.. Many Are Called, but few are chosen. Few are chosen, because they do not heed to The Call. We protest to have rights, to have Free Will. But then, when we regret decisions we make with our free will.. we often blame God or.... our parents. We end up being witnesses against ourselves. We hold tightly to having contempt for The Living God that we ignored from the womb. While all of the while, years before, we were reading the scriptures that warned us to flee from sin. To Exalt Almighty God.. to cast out Pride and submit to Our Creator. ... No One Is Righteous. No, Not One. All have fallen short. No One Seeks After God. Psalm 53: 1-3 ; Romans 3: 9-20 ... God Bless You In All Truth. - In Christ, Christina

Are you Paul Washer, making disciples of all nations, ( Matthew 28:18-20 )? Yes, you are preaching the truth, yes you are preaching the gospel good news, yet that is not the fullness of the command! Preaching is a very small part of the Great Commission Command of Christ. Christ preached, but Christ concentrated the vast majority of His time " Rubbing Himself Thoroughly " into His apostle/disciples ( John 3:22 ) And told them they would do things even greater than Himself. The command still is; " make disciples of all nations " - matheteusate ta ethne in the original Greek text. Obedience to this direct command of Christ answers the prayer to the Lord of the harvest to raise up workers for the harvest. ( Matthew 9:37-38 ) supplying the workers needed to reach the 5 Billion souls who still have not ever heard the gospel good news. Religion has failed, tradition has failed, institution has failed, that which we call church has failed, I have failed!
I spent much of my 37 years as a child of God being a good christian. Faithfully going to church, being involved in ministries, preaching the gospel both here and abroad. Participating and leading Bible studies. Yet, I never made even one disciple of Christ until about 15 years ago when Christ Jesus ran over me with the truth of disciple making. Now there are 18 men God has given me to disciple in Christ Jesus. Then all of them are discipling still others as I post this. 2 Timothy 2:1-2. In all some 3,000 men are going forth in Christ preaching, teaching and demonstrating the gospel good news to many I will never see. Then as they continue to make disciples, as is our direct command from Christ, they multiply the Kingdom of God for His glory!
The goal of the traditional, institutional, organized, denominational, program driven religious organization ( that which we call the church ) is to fill the church building to 80% capacity, start a building program, accumulate debt but enlarge the budget, build still bigger and better buildings, keep the pews and the pew potatoes busy with programs and 12 week bible studies, add still more professionals to the growing numbers, and maybe one day people will consider those efforts worthy of Mega status. If someone or anyone gets saved along the way that is great but not entirely necessary.
Acts records the obedience to Christ of that First Century disciples ( The ekklesia ) or ( called out ones ) taking the gospel good news to the whole known world of there day inside of 70 years from the Day of Pentecost. They didn't build buildings, they didn't build budgets, they didn't build debt; they built disciples in Christ. They did that out of full obedience and determined obedience to Christ as World-Visionary, World-Impacting, Reproducing, Learner-Followers of Christ, denying themselves and taking up their crosses daily to follow after Christ Jesus being His witnesses both in their Jerusalem - Their Neighbor, and in all of their Judea - Their Near, and in their Samaria- Their Neglected, and to the uttermost - Their Next. ( Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 9: 23, Acts 1:8 ) or Disciples. Then Christ Himself formed the local churches impacting the world from their particular location. They didn't have money, they didn't have vehicles, they didn't even have the full council of the word. ( The New Testament was being written while they obeyed Christ. ) We have every advantage physically over that First Century Church except we are simply disobedient to Christ and His direct command to " Make disciples of all nations " Hence the 5 Billion people on this planet who have never heard the gospel good news. Jesus said: " If you love Me you will obey My commandments."...... Well....Do We? 5 Billion people are waiting!!

@@pelumiakindele9305 - Ephesians 2:10 says this: For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. The Great Commission command of Matthew 28:18-20 maps out those good works already prepared for us to simply walk in, in obedience too. God has prepared all the details for our work, Christ has demonstrated the process, now we are to simply be obedient to walk in them. Petar: Staring at a blank white wall can be a great source of entertainment and can provide a number of benefits. They can help improve our patience and endurance with doing boring tasks. They can be a great way of relax and mediate after a long day. Additionally, one can imagine imaginary friends to socialize with which can improve social skill and improve our sense of imagination. @@thongdam7608 I think that's a good summary.
I can see how one could think that staring at a blank white wall is a waste of time, it isn't. It frees our mind to think about other things. It is helpful for meditation and prayer. Without distractions, we can focus on drawing closer to God. This is what monks chose to do. They seek entertainment-free life so that they can grow closer to God in silent contemplation and prayer.
It is only if you presume that there is no redeeming qualities in Gods good world that you presume that it's all just fodder for the hell fire. Both boredom in the blank white wall, and the over saturation with entertainment and escapism via games can, and do lead to sloth and can be a sin. But to suppose that all they are is only a path to sin, is a sin in itself. It is missing the mark. That is what sin is- missing the mark. Failing at a given task.

There is no such thing as a generic Jesus. It is retarded to assume that people know who Jesus is by default. Or that you can just go around and tell people to believe in God. I would bet you are a Nestorian and you don't even know it. Do yourself a favor and look up the controversy in the second century between St Cyril of Alexandria and Nestorius. The second council decided against Nestorius. Educate yourself.

@@randychurchill201 I'm sorry if you felt offended. I was not intending to insult you. I just find church history to be fascinating and important but seriously conflated. This is where I stand: "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2
And if you find me a simpleton for standing by that then I gladly accept your insult. I am in good company with Paul and Christ Himself.
"…21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified..."

    • @randychurchill201
      @randychurchill201 2 ปีที่แล้ว

OK, so if Paul says that he determined to know nothing except Christ and Him crucified, does that mean that we should just ignore all the other doctrines in the Bible? You're doing what most Protestants do with the Bible. You're absolutizing a passage and then using that to exclude any debate about other subjects that relate to central doctrines and assumptions. For example, I don't accept the presupposition made by you that you even know who Jesus is or that you have a historic Christology. Just quoting a passage does not answer this question. A Mormon or Jehovah's Witness can quote the same verses which then also begs the question. Just because you quote the Bible does not tell me who Jesus is and how he saves us. All heretics use the Bible.
Also, I'm not a Protestant so I don't believe in Sola Scriptura. I don't believe that inspiration is only found in written text. Nor do I believe that a person is saved on the basis of faith alone. So, if you want to interact then fine. But just quoting scriptures is going to beg other questions.
If you're a Protestant then you believe in the payback scheme of Penal Substitution. Your doctrine requires that Jesus be a human person. Classical Protestantism teaches that God damned the Son and the Trinity was divided as a consequence of Christ becoming literal sin. Protestants fall into Nestorianism because they have to say that the human Jesus was damned on the cross not the divine Jesus. To say that Jesus was damned by the Father necessitates a human person Jesus. Because no Protestant would say that God damned the divine Jesus who was the eternal Son begotten by the Father.
Nestorianism is the belief that there were two persons in Christ. A human person and a divine person. This is a heresy that was condemned by the historic church at the Council of Ephesus. Which was the second Council. Having a false Christology is why Protestants have a silly doctrine of redemption. There was only one Person in Christ. The Logos, Second person of the Trinity. Jesus was not a predestined man. He was God who became human flesh. Christ has two natures human and divine. But there is only one Divine Person present for all the actions of Christ in His earthly ministry.
Just quoting a scripture is not going to deal with the question of who Jesus is and how that relates to soteriology. You're not dealing with the subject matter. Understanding Nestorianism is very important in formulating your doctrines of salvation.
