Beautiful houses, no question. But why is it that the state government cannot construct the streets in these areas? It's the same thing all over Nigeria. Nice houses, but no good streets or roads to access them. Truly saddening.

Most of them na mumu. Na lagos dem go dey waste money since dey even fill swamps for them.😂 thank Goodness igbos have finally started waking up. Let’s take our homelands to the next level. I think I would have to go into real estate and restaurant business when next I come into Nigeria, hopefully with a few American friends who wouldn’t mind to take advantage of this opportunity before everyone starts to wake up.👍🏼

Is this Trans Nkisi 2 located in Nsugbe, Nkwele Ezunaka, Ogbunike or Ogidi? Because I'm pretty sure Onitsha doesn't have much empty land apart from the former Akpaka forest reserve. The landlord should contribute money and pave the road for the property to be more luxurious and expensive.

  • @mcasuzu

Before these buildings are put up, the infrastructure: water, sewage, electricity MUST be put in place first. And guess what? They would NOT cost the government a dime to build and operate. Just grant permission to a group of investors to build them and charge the users. In my locality, water is supplied by a private water company and we pay according to usage. Electricity, the same. Just think of mobile phone companies. Remember when we had NITEL? Very useless. Just build the water works, Onitsha is close to water. Lay down the pipes and homeowners would just connect to the pipes. I lived in a rural place in Minnesota where every house has well water. As development came, a private company built water treatment plant, laid down the pipes and we all hooked our plumbing to the new pipelines. Of course, we now pay water bill, but it is worth it: clean, treated water. And, the government had no hand in it.

It is the duty of Governments to provide public infrastructure and utilities. You people should stop encouraging Governments to be stupid and wicked by wronging thinking that private individuals should use their hard-earned money to build public infrastructure. I have travelled to various parts of the world where Governments constructs roads in estate, provide other public utilities such as water, gas, sewage even before individuals finish building their houses. This is also so in various self-respecting African countries. Congratulations to those who are helping to build our beloved Igboland, especially our main city Onitsha.

@user-nq5cn2co9w that is the problem we have in Anambra, individuals are trying their best to build good houses and government is not encouraging them with good roads .If you check, most of our villages are more organized with good tarred roads than our cities in Anambra because , individuals use their money to tarr roads and develop their communities by themselves. So many villages in Awka South have good tarred roads by individuals across villages just like what Tonimas did in Neni constructing all the roads in their village. Our government is not matching up with individuals in the city in terms of development.
