This Akpaka was a Kidnap den back then in Anambra, it was a forest reserve, and Kidnappers decided to use it as hideout, until Peter Obi can and demolished everything, now Akpaka is now an Estate.

My father said that in his youth, Onitsha air smelt of mangoes and gardenias for rows of mango trees grew along many roads and majority of roadside bushes were festooned with Gardena.
The government can still make a U-turn for better environment. Thanks
Real estate investors and developers will be encouraged to cash into the coastal lines of the River Niger banks only when the River Niger is dredged to the Atlantic Ocean. The dredging will mitigate the risk of flooding which is nightmarish for every house owner.
The coastal lines of Asaba and Onitsha will turn into a real estate masterpiece once the river channels are opened up to contain more water volume as it flows down to meet the Atlantic. Until this conundrum is contained Onitsha and Asaba future real estate developers will continue to watch from a distance with eyes filled with skepticism.
I rest my case.

Government reserve areas (GRA) are usually planned by government for government employees,diplomats etc.lt's just that in present day Nigeria that does not stand anymore,anyone call buy a land and build in GRA these days,government staff or not.

What kind of industries do they have in the state, I would like to know? Continue to show different things about the state, universities, trade schools, hospitals, factories where the finish products for export, big organized farms, dairy farms, slaughter houses , organized markets, you have to be different, because every content creator showing the same thing, we want to see real production by nigerians.

Who says onitsha is not beautiful? City of onitsha is far far better than so many states capital even though there is no federal presence, pls can any body tell how many states capitals out side south east, Lagos and Abuja, that you can see mansions as this in quintiles.
Individuals are what made Anambra, the focus is on government neglect of building standards infrastructure in 21st century.
@@YangaLife I know that 21st needs infrastructure such as water, good roads, and electricity there is no state in Nigeria that has all that infrastructure complete, but I know onitsha is among worst only I know with all the odds yet we are doing every well .

Am not an expert but any good investment on that island should be done with a certain level to avoid flooding.
@@RealityWorldGeo the solution is dredging the river to the Atlantic Ocean, that way it will have unrestricted flow which will curb the flooding
