What is the max dimension (height) for SSD? I heared you can place even Samsung 990 Pro with Heatsink, but have you tried with Crucial T500 with heatsing? It's a little bit more"fat".
The correction is that currently you can upgrade up to 96GB of ram with 48GBx2 5200mhz (in theory you can get up to 5600mhz with 2rx8 from Intel) just wait for the new bios update from Asus
MASSIVE WARNING! Absolutely dont follow the way this guy disconnects the battery. They dont even show the reconnection. No board would want you to first take out a whole fan connected by metal screws to unplug the battery. **Disccharge the battery completely first. The battery connector is connected to the battery itself in the middle. Use a sharp plastic tool to dislodge it from both sides. Do not pull by the wire. Its pretty easy to remove.** Ive seen people complain who followed the battery disconnection shown in this video to have short circed their device. Also the metal bracket go in properly once removed. this guy doesnt even show the reassembly process. Reporting the video to youtube.
Yeah I am with you on this one, I started watching kinda early when he started his youtube channel but I got bored of his videos really fast but now after these videos came, I understood how much I actually liked his old videos, these new videos are much more slow and boring, I miss the old videos too
Nice disassembly. Do you guys know where to get parts for this laptop, other than ram or storage?. for example a new touchpad replacement.

That third fan is so funny
thank you so much for the information
Why you didn't show how difficult to pry the back cover off and instead pretend to pry only "after"

Does this have the same fans as the 2023 strix scar 18 model if i were to replace?
Does it have 2 or 4 speakers?
4 speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Any difference between this and the 2023 model?
14th gen cpu vs 13th gen, but it's just a small refresh and a big one is mini-LED display in 4080/4090 configs
Does it have 2 or 4 speakers?
