Nikki's book help me quit heroin. I was heavy on it. Shooting up at least 2 to 3 times a day while reading his book. Then I quit cold turkey by page 160. Still struggling but happier than ever that I can view these videos.
Aaron Hildebrand ehhh i definitely did not recover after this. After many relapses and headaches i checked myself into a rehab and ive been clean for a bout 2 months now. I dont wish anyone this type of hell ive gone through. Im never gonna praise jesus and all that bs but im doing some soul searching and im finding out alot about myself. I wish that people will educate their kids better about this hellish drug.
I've always thought the same. You can definitely see it in his eyes, but dammit he's still just like a regular guy, well spoken and with a sense of humor. And dammit, I hate that I still find him so fucking attractive during his worst.

He then was told he would die before his 29th birthday by a soothsayer and he overdosed 12 days later, the same month. Apperantly he was depressed because all of the band members went home to their girlfriends and wifes for christmas and he still had nobody so he went nuts.😅
That's right, he said he was so dope sick, had his limo driver pick up his dope dealer, and bring him to the airport to pick him up from the flight home with a $1000 worth of smack.
I just wanted to say how happy I am to see them back together and getting ready to stomp on the world again planning their stadium tour . The world of Motley Crue has a big effect on my life and seeing them hanging out together is peaceful

I love Vince's spit fire, rapid machine gun voice. No one has been able to ever duplicate his voice. I think his being of Latin descent (half Mexican) along with Nikki being half Italian which is also Latin along with Tommy being half Greek which is a rapid spoken language and produces some hyper ass, adrenaline fueled people, my mother being one of them, gives them a very unique and intense sound that compliments each other beautifully and can not be copied.

He said tommy wore gloves to prevent him from biting his nails because he did it so heavily. @basamente Track marks arent as visible as you think, and quality of the video is old, so you wouldn't really see them that well anyways, and the general injection spot is the crook of your arm, and veins being collapsed isn't visibile unless your looking straight down at them in light. and those scabs wouldn't be very large either because well... a needle isnt big at all, and the scab that forms over a track is different from if you get a scrap or cut.

Poor Nikki, watching him here, he's in such bad shape. No one can help an addict until they're willing to change, but still you wonder if anyone was really reaching out and giving him support, not just managers and people making money off him, but actual friends.
It’s hard for people that don’t struggle with addiction to read addicts. Most people have this image in their mind of addicts being helpless people that are generally brain dead and look like zombies. This is just so not the case. There are many type of addicts and each of them have a unique relationship with their addiction, yet very similar. Generally, addicts are extremely intelligent people. A lot of them are high functioning. You would never be able to tell. Your high functioning, lawyer neighbour could be a dope junkie, without you ever noticing. Nikki was a extremely well spoken en intelligent guy, he knew exactly how to manipulate himself and others just in the right way to keep his addiction going. This is one of the many “talents” of addicts. Manipulating everyone and anyone, convincing them and theirselves nothing is wrong, so that they can continue feeding their horrible disease called addiction without anyone trying to interfere with it. When I see Nikki, I see many of my friends from the past, I see myself when I was a teen. It’s the way broken addicted people are wired. They look like a strong person from outside, almost perfect, glorious, or maybe just dreamy. Someone that makes your eyes spark. Someone who you might look up to, or who you would want to be. While in reality there is a lot of darkness, lack of self concept inside. That’s all repressed by the addiction ego.

It's very easy to see when someone is high on heroin; if someones pupils are pinned, they're high. If their pupils aren't pinned, they're not high. That said, I'm sure Nikki and Tommy both did a big fat rail of coke before sitting down for this interview. And before anyone comes back at me saying something stupid like "What's the difference?" - apples and oranges folks.

souldivine777 you're right, in The Heroin Diaries he's still in Van Nuys on his birthday (11 Dec 1987) and is on the plane to Japan on the 12th, and the interview was before their concert on the 13th so am assuming it was just better/easier to go along with it since it was just the day before. But this is definitely in '87 less than two weeks before he OD'ed.
Watch other interviews from different time periods to compare. He's pale and eyes have no life. Borderline slurring towards the end, and super fidgety and itchy. He's typical very composed during interviews. He was strung out here, and even said he wasn't feeling well. And, agree with you, still sexy....always to me.
I saw one of their interviews just a year before this and the change is very noticeable. Nikki lost weight, his face is pale and his eyes look lifeless. He definitely had a heavy addiction...

Everyone commenting talking about high Nikki is in this interview have no idea what they're talking about. He is not high on dope here. It's very easy to see when someone is high on heroin; if someones pupils are pinned, they're high. If their pupils aren't pinned, they're not high. That said, I'm sure Nikki and Tommy both did a big fat rail of coke before sitting down for this interview. And before anyone comes back at me saying something stupid like "What's the difference?" - apples and oranges folks.

souldivine777 you're right, in The Heroin Diaries he's still in Van Nuys on his birthday (11 Dec 1987) and is on the plane to Japan on the 12th, and the interview was before their concert on the 13th so am assuming it was just better/easier to go along with it since it was just the day before. But this is definitely in '87 less than two weeks before he OD'ed.

Watch other interviews from different time periods to compare. He's pale and eyes have no life. Borderline slurring towards the end, and super fidgety and itchy. He's typical very composed during interviews. He was strung out here, and even said he wasn't feeling well. And, agree with you, still sexy....always to me.
This interview was shot 2 weeks before his overdose in LA Dec 1987. He was far from being a well boy at that point.
