I am not seeing how to perform pixel perfect centering text on the a path horizontally nor centered vertically BETWEEN two previously established concentric circles. Could you elaborate on that in a future video or Comment here?

you hold shift and scale up the circle to fit make sure your guide are turned on CTRL + H so its not hidden. Horizontally What I did is just make a guide or a use a rectangle to see where the letters are lining up on both sides then I optically adjust.

Do you know why when I flip the text that it squishes the letters together more than when it is not flipped?

Hmm did you hold alt because it might effect the kerning. Also check length of the line. Try a new path and maybe start with smaller text.
