You can tell Kate is one of those girls who is shy at first, but when she opens up she’s hilarious. I could tell by the way William looked at her and giggled when she was talking about the picture on her wall. And while they may not be as theatrically in love as Meghan and Harry, you can tell they have a deep connection running between them, an undercurrent of respect and admiration for each other.

I love how protective William is of Kate. When she seems unsure of the interviewer's questions, he always looks reassuring at her and says something encouraging.
William also radiated happyness and giddyness. It seems he is so happy to be engaged to her
I feel like she was constantly making sure she's coming off acceptable. They were engaged at this point, so she probably already had so many rules to follow. I find it creepy.
Funny contrast. Everything we see him do now is barge past her, roll his eyes and give her looks of contempt. Won't take her hand up a flight of stairs. Leaves her with the umbrella to walk in the rain. Hell at the awards with Tom cruise kate was talking to a child while baldy was talking to two other men. When the men stopped to listen what she was saying... oh you should if seen the look on willileaks face. His jaw gripped and he LITERALLY GAVE HER A LOOK AND THEN BARGED OVER HER to kneel down and talk to the other kid. Like father, like son. I don't call that protective. Nor do I count his affairs as protective of her especially when he knows what people will call her. A doormat.
Ther's such a dffrence between Will and Harry's engagement interview, Kate +Will reserved and respectful.

Kate’s a Capricorn. It’s typical of the personality & sign in general. My son is a sun & moon Capricorn, so the energy is stronger. They can seem withdrawn & “cold” to people who don’t know them, but those they are close to wouldn’t necessarily see that side of them. She would be more open, outgoing & very loving & nurturing in a more private environment. That’s why when she’s out with the public it’s very obvious how much effort she puts into talking to people or meeting so many people on a regular basis. It does take a focused effort for her personality type to get involved with larger crowds on a regular basis. It’s an earth sign thing,
You also have to keep in mind that even Diana, having grown up in royal circles, wasn’t used to all this kind of publicity until after she started seeing Charles. She was kind of shy & withdrawn. The paparazzi would run her down going to work just like they did Kate, so they both had to adjust to the onslaught of attention. The only difference was that Diana understood protocol so she didn’t have massive adjustments there where Kate wasn’t an active part of those type of social circles until more into her college years, but evenso, her circles didn’t involve regular interaction with royals, just high society.
When it comes to meghan, she even said in her interview that compared to this way of life, hers was relatively low key. Her life was dedicated to ONE tv show, & most people who knew about her blog, some celebrity connections & the charity work she was a part of, even most of her interviews involved charity work, compared to red carpet related events & interviews.
Kate is the definition of class. William picked a great one.

I love how he fills in her sentences and knows when she's nervous. Especially the question about being compared to Princess Diana, I love how he says that it's about paving their own line and that Kate will do her own greatness ☺️☺️

She is a top notch breeder. As an outside observer, that's about all I can give her. That's positive, right? I mean I don't think she's ever been outside of the UK except for tagging along behind Wills, going shopping etc.

The TRUTH is, Kate was and IS very happy and proud to be Will’s wife. She vowed to give him a happy, supportive, peaceful family. 3 kids and 7 years later, she’s still laughing at his corny jokes, looks at him with pure love and adoration, and is still maintaining her relationship/marriage. She keeps that man happy and focused, while maintaining home. The role of a WIFE, which she WANTED.
I would day one reason why Kate is very happy and proud to be Will's wife is the fact they have a very special relationship that dates back to when they were classmates at St. Andrews in Scotland. Both keep each other happy because of the love they have for each other which is so pure; it doesn't look anywhere like Harry's marriage to Meghan with Meghan being a diva. Kate is a loving wife, mother and one day queen.

She was nervous on her wedding day, as most brides would be, and she carried it all very well, because she is not an actress gloating over the cameras on her! Catherine follows Royal protocol; she has respect! Royals usually do not hold hands so much in public; however, MeAgain does what she wants when she wants; she has little respect for basic protocol and goes against the grain constantly; she wants the attention, and she is determined to do things her way........several of the staff who have been with the Royal family for years, quit, due to the Me-Gain girl! She knew she'd make a very happy home for someone. They're both educated, good people, so they had every right to fall in love and not limit themselves to date only certain people. I LOVE that Kate is more shy when it comes to public speaking. As someone who has always struggled with social anxiety and especially speaking in front of people, she is someone I can relate to and who gives me so much hope! She does so well in her position and encourages me to overcome my own fears! And her focus on mental health is just the icing on the cake :')

It’s so sad when he says he’s trying to learn from lessons of the past. He was so careful to make sure kate was ok and that she was strong enough to cope. He clearly is mindful of what happened to his mother and how ill prepared she was by the family.
The family did not ill prepare her - no one could possibly have imagined what the press was going to be like towards her. We've never seen anything like it before or since.

Kate is such a delight. Every time I hear her talk I'm reminded of how lucky Prince William is, but also that we (the United Kingdom) are to have her. She's a jewel for the crown and I can't wait to watch her continue to flourish.

I think people don't understand that while Kate is a commoner, it is not like she was some poor cinderella when they met. She is from an extremely wealthy family. However, she is hardly a gold digger. If you know the whole story, she actually separated from him because it was so much pressure for her, but they truly did marry out of love.

I recently watched an interview with Diana, where she shared a conversation between William and her about finding the true love. Well, he is luckier than his mom was, cause he found it. But besides it she handled the situation quite well. If I was in her place I'd be shaking and not a single word would come out of my mouth!

Wasn't used to it then, still isn't and she still sucks. Middleton knew it was
coming {and this was just an interview}, instead of getting herself some practice with speech coaches, Middleton ended up awkward. Princess Diana learned with speech coaches, it made her an excellent public speaker who gave a lot of speeches. Yet to this day, Middleton can't get through a speech without looking like a disaster.
You comparison to Diana is not necessary. Diana came from an aristrocratic family so her education was completely different from the childhood of Catherine's. I highly doubt Catherine didn't got practice with speech coaches, it just takes more time with her than it took with Diana. Don't forget Diana was much younger and she probably learnt quicker than Catherine anyway. All the hating comments are unnecessary towards her as we people don't know how she prepares/practices for her official engagements, unless you work in the Kensington Palace which I doubt haha

Kate looked/sounded so nervous and her hands were shaking but compare this to her now 2015 she has grown a lot in confidence and come such a long way its unbelievable.

Talk about a complete 180 from Charles and Diana's interview...You can just see it in his face and his body language just how much William love's and care's about Kate, not to mention when he said that one of the reason's it took his so love to ask her, is that he wanted her to have the chance to back-out if she didn't think she could handle what it took to be a Royle and a member of HIS family...
That's one of the sweetest, most considering thing ever for him to allow her to back out if she wanted to. He really has learned a lot from his parent's (1st) marriage.

I love Catherine. I read that she is quite shy, at first; she does seem like it here, but she just isn't the type of woman to seek the spotlight. She was raised in a loving, happy family, where there was no drama and only love and support. Her family is very close and that stability is not lost on William. It's exactly what he has needed since the death of his mother. Catherine has grown into her role as Duchess and will learn even more when she becomes Princess Of Wales. All this will prepare her for the role of Queen Consort. The U.K will be in good hands with them. The Queen will leave an untouchable legacy, let's hope that Charles stays the course.
