Wow, I don't usually comment, but this was a really great video, with a real and high resolution samples, praising the highlights while openly telling about the weak parts. Thank you, keep shooting!
A great starting point for people to get into photography, if they were already gonna buy a phone. The sharpening on the Telephoto is really ruining it though, just give an option to turn it off. But I guess if you care that much, you would shoot raw anyways and avoid the problem yeah. I feel let down with the cinematic mode. But I think it's feature with potential in the years to come.
These iPhones are better every year. Maybe you would consider doing a video on raw workflow as these files are rather large and take up space quickly. Can we store raw iPhone photos on an external ssd and use just like we would in LR Classic or are we tied to cloud based storage only? Keep up the great work your Chanel is one of the best out there!
Loved this video. Thank you! I changed my settings to the ones you showed -> 10:27 I don’t fully understand PAL just yet but I can’t see the rest of your settings… Should the HDR be toggled off? Auto 30 FPS?
Great video, a quick question, I agree the 2x on older phones was pretty handy and for this camera, your choice is 1x or 3x. If you were to back out,, say to 2x or 2.5x wouldn’t it still be sharp and not digital?
I am considering getting the iPhone 13 Pro but am wondering how much better it would be over the DJI Pocket 2 for video. I film often while hiking so image stabilization was what attracted me to the DJI pocket. Can you give me a hint if it's a worthy upgrade? Thanks for the video.
Unfortunately, that is very complicated question, so I am not able to answer that in a comment. The question is not how much better is iPhone 13 Pro. The question is whether it is better than Pocket 2 or not.
@@TheHybridShooter Thanks for your reply. Actually you answered it, if it is unclear to you as an expert whether the iPhone is an improvement then it's not a very massive one and not worth to me due to cost. Maybe you make a comparison video on it once Apples new video ProRes is released, I'd certainly watch it. Cheers
@@wio2189 They are completely different types of devices, so I will never be able to give general answer to which one is better. That will always depends on the way that you want to use them and personal preferences.
Great video bro! The only regret I have for my 13 pro is the laking of a pro video and photo mode where I can set my shutter WB ecc. I would also love the possibility to shoot without any oversharpening because i do not like it at all. In cinematic mode I like the fact that edges are a lot smoother with less digital sharpening so I consider to use it at f16 because of the soft look that i like.
Beautiful 👌🎈! I fell in love with that city (which city is that?), you captured it well. Can't wait to get mine & be about, hopefully will take great images like you did.
I changed from IPhone 12 Pro Max to Pixel 6 Pro last year, loving the 6 Pro camera but hoping iPhone 14 Pro will match or exceed its quality camera wise this year, if it does, I'll be going back to Apple! I've heard it's going to have a 48MP camera this year, time will tell! Thanks for this.. 👍🏻🙂🇬🇧
Good review! I feel like it could have used a little more review/samples of cinematic mode since its new. Also, you shot mostly landscape photos. To really display the lower f stops and how it handles bokeh, more portrait or up close shots of a subject would be better. Thanks for the review!
Thank you! I don't shoot portraits at all, so unfortunately, you will have to look elsewhere for that. I have made a couple of tests with Cinematic mode, concluding that it is hopeless, so I just wanted to get it out of the way. Lack of 4K is also a deal breaker for anybody who cares about video quality.

I think these smartphone cameras are getting very close to replacing even the best dedicated compact cameras, like the RX100 series. Still not quite there, but close (and perhaps close enough in many situations).
@@TheHybridShooter Looking forward to it. From my perspective, RX100 image quality is still better, autofocus tracking is better and the zoom range significantly more flexible. But newer smartphones are systematically addressing each of these issues.

Depends on preference between iOS and Android.

Am I the only one who things the picture are just okay ?
Perceived image quality depends or your expectations, so probably not.
