Absolutely obsessed with this song, I can see why it didn’t make it onto Asphalt Meadows from a thematic/atmospheric perspective but quality-wise it’s definitely on par with the album!!

Some I thought they faded like all the other early to late 2000s bands. Its cool to see their still around and their sound to still be so strong.
I agree with some of the people here. We should damn well just appreciate the new stuff they release. We can all agree that no matter how much we love this band, they will never release the sounds of 2005 again. Regardless of who is still in the band. I definitely support their transition of sound, because things very well change with time. The early 2000s was the golden age of Indie/emo rock and we must move forward now. I am very much thankful for the time frame of albums 3-6. It's been an incredible journey but we should not be expecting anything "ground breaking" at this point. Whether we like it or not everyone's time eventually comes to an end.

You cannot hoist Walla up as the Sound of Death Cab when their sound is so varied across the decades, and when the albums he worked on are so divisive. Codes and Keys exists, after all.
