I just made the pattern up myself, if you think of it like 1 inch ribbon and then just add the extra back and seam allowance. So the top part in total I do 3 inches wide and 9 inches long and then break that up into 3 1 inch parts lengthwise. so you have a 1 inch middle where you will embroider and then 1 inch above and below it. Then find the middle of the length and go out a 1/4 of an inch on both sides you have 1/2 and inch middle. then from there add 1.5 inches on each sides for the part you will embroider. I usually go over the 1.5 so that when you fold it you still see embroidery on the edges. for the tails, its the same idea but the length is 5 inches total and 4 inches of embroidery for each, leaving space at the top to attach it and a bit at the end to sew it. and the centre is 1/2 an inch plus seam allowance on the ends and like 2 inches or so length wise. I wouldnt worry too much about making it exact, I just played around with it but thinking of it like making a bow out of 1 inch ribbon and then just adding the back and seam allowance to it should help! I hope that helps!
